Introduction:
Neuron is a macro-based action bar addon. It can stand on its own or supplement any other action bar addon, including even the default Blizzard UI.

Neuron is the continuation of the Ion Action Bars project, however, due to incompatible changes, your profiles from Ion cannot be directly used on Neuron.

Neuron is in active development, and as such there is the possibility of bugs, quirks, and rough edges. Please bear with me as I do my best to make Neuron as stable and full featured as it can be; however, as my time is limited, help and support is always appreciated.

Theme Support:
Neuron inherits all theming courtesy of the Masque addon. Neuron has full Masque compatibility, and the theming options found in Masque are quite in-depth, not to mention the robust portfolio of skins made to support Masque. In short, you can make your bars look any way you like!

Features:
  • Neuron features an unlimited number of macros. You can create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a clicker extraordinaire? As many buttons on the screen you want where you want, when you want!
  • Macros the size of Texas! Up to 1024 characters in length!
  • Maul's unique mouse-over key-binding system - where the mouse-over binding system was born!
  • Many other of the favorite desired bar addon features and then some!
  • And, last but not least, MASQUE support!

Graphical Editor:
Neuron contains a graphical bar editor that allows for nearly endless customization to bar shape, size, orientation, and much more! Further, Neuron has neither the limitations on max number of bars nor on the max number of buttons per bar, as you might find in addons such as Bartender4 or Dominoes.

If the command line is your thing, all of the options found in the graphical bar editor can also be set using the below command structure.

Commands:
Type /neuron alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
  • shape: Change current bar's shape
  • name: Change current bar's name
  • strata: Change current bar's frame strata
  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
  • arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
  • arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
  • columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
  • padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
  • padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
  • showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag
  • x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position
  • y: Change current bar's vertical axis position
  • state: Toggle states for the current bar (/neuron state <state>). Type /neuron statelist for vaild states
  • statelist: Print a list of valid states
  • load: Load a profile
  • lock: Lock buttons

Newest version erased my buttons and i cant even add 1 button to bar.(nuber of buttons on bars is 0)

Dont forget to save your WTF folder before trying this version.I was lucky i saved mine 2 days ago.

Tested it on mage, druid, and warrior so far. All getting the same error. Also losing keybinds as well.

Is it more efficient for me to post here on github for you? And thanks for all the hard work.
GitHub is definitely easier. Yeah I'll check it out and see what's up. The keybind issue was unavoidable and was in the update message

Tested it on mage, druid, and warrior so far. All getting the same error. Also losing keybinds as well.

I just wrote the code to implement this. I tried to make it so you could show the vehicle bar independent of the blizz bar, but it was buggy. I couldn't get it consistently to work, so for now it's either show ALL the blizz stuff or hide ALL the blizz stuff.

Good news, I fixed the issue with making and deleting new bars in MASTER. Can the people who were testing for me resync and test the latest patches? What we have now works and is stable, but it's not the end-product that I'd like to ship. I just don't wana keep holding up bug fixes for the DB any longer. I can always come back to the DB at a later date

After a week and half of searching through the code I finally found the cause of the buttons not saving. And it wasn't the code that was broken, it was that I was misunderstanding how aceDB saved data.

Speaking of the MASTER, I'm having trouble with flyouts and tooltips for items. Any flyout macro I had before switching to the master works fine but any flyout I've edited since or made new doesn't show icons or tooltips for items. Even my potion macro won't show an icon or tooltip.
