Kith's UI (Elv UI)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0
by: Kithicor [More]

Recommended Resolution: 1920x1080
Recommended Players: Raiding DPS/Heals

-------------------------------------------
ABOUT THE UI

Kith's UI is a High Performance raid UI, utilizing aesthetic components as well as perceptibility. Although developed for the Hunter Class, Kith's UI can be adapted to any class, though primarily Healer classes and Utility DPS.

With UI elements toward the bottom and center of the screen, Kith's UI provides a "one-stop-shop" kind of feel, having everything in one spot, so attention isn't thrown around, causing a delay in reaction.

--------------------------------------------

DISCLAIMER OF SUPPORT

I do not provide support for this UI package, or for the addons contained within it. It is your responsibility to keep the addons up-to-date (I use MMOUI Minion). If you have any questions about the operation of any addon within this pack, it is your responsibility to find the addon author(s) and seek support from them.

THIS UI PACK WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT 1650x1080 SCREEN RESOLUTION. Any other resolution can work, but you'll need to move various addons around (particularly Bartender, KGPanels and Omen).

--------------------------------------------

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Unpack the archive and rename folders

The archive contains three folders, all relative to your World of Warcraft installation folder. The "Fonts" folder should replace your existing Fonts folder. Same thing for the "Interface" folder. Note: The Interface folder contains many sub-folders. You need all of them. Finally, the "WTF" folder. Within this folder, under the Account folder, you'll see a folder called "ACCOUNTNAME". Rename this to your account name. Under that folder is a "SERVERNAME" folder, and under that a "CHARACTERNAME" folder. Rename those to match your server and character. If you've ever used another UI pack, this should be familiar to you.

--------------------------------------------

STEP 2: Log in to the game and setup addons

Once you're loaded into the game, the next step is to setup all the addon profiles.

XCT:
Type /xct
Click Profiles
Select "Default"
*NOTE* MAY HAVE TO GO TO FLOATING COMBAT TEXT WITHIN /XCT AND UNSELECT AND RESELECT

Skada:
Open your Interface Options, AddOns tab
Find Skada
Click the +
Click Profiles
Under Existing Profiles, select "Default"

ElvUI: SKIP INSTALLATION PROCESS
type /ec
Select profiles
make sure default is enabled.

Grid:
type /grid
select profiles
default
NOTE: I may have missed some addons. Based on the above instructions, you should get the general idea of how to switch them to the correct profile.

--------------------------------------------

IAddons

ELV UI
XCT
Skada
RSA
SimpleResources
DBM
PheonixStyle
Grid

- 4.2.0 : Updated to Elv UI (modded)

- 4.1.1 : Updated for patch 4.1

I tried to reset to default the addons ingame but there were no changes, is that supposed to change to somehow close to what is like on your UI screenshot or is the "default" thing in the install manual just a routine thing that doesn't make any changes on where things are placed and how they're displayed?

please reply soon

Did you rename the folders to your account/server/char name?

First: Grid is in the middle of my screen and i can not move it, where do i unlock so i can move it?

What addon did you use to create the shaded areas at the bottom of the screen that everything goes in?

BTW, very nice UI, one of the best i have seen or have used.

Stupid question incoming....there's no Fonts folder in my WoW folders. Where should the fonts go from the Malev UI Widescreen folder?

I read through all of the pages trying to see if this had been answered, if it has, I apologize!

Thanks!

I just have one (and pretty big) problem. After 1-2hours of Raid I have a big message saying

"Memory allocation error: Block too big"

I know the problem isnt my computer memory or my computer in general. When that happen, I can't press any macro (weird but still...), see the enemy with pitbull, etc. And the warning stay in the middle of the screen.

I made some research on internet and it looks like it's coming from CowTip. That crash is pretty big but I like CowTip fonctionality.

First- Anyone have the same problem?
Second- Is there a way to resolve that issue?
Third- If not, do you know any addon doing Cowtip Job?
try tiptop. I think I still have a profile saved in there for it.

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Buttons

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Minimap
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Textures
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Tooltips
WTF to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF

Under the WTF folder I Renamed:

ACCOUNTNAMEHERE to my account name
SERVERNAMEHERE to my server name
CHARACTERNAMEHERE to my character name

When i start WOW all i get is a black screen with the login info, after inputing my user name and password the character list comes up with no picture of my charcter scrren is still black. After selecting what toon i want to play i enter the game and still have a black creen with all the buttons in the center of the screen and the screen is still black. So where have i messed up!

try turning the video settings down to low. and make sure you either renamed the original interface or deleted it.

I've had the same thing, had it on previous version more often than I do now though.

I haven't found anything to fix it yet, but I usually just type "/reload" before a new boss tbh, so that I'm sure it won't happen during the fight.

It's in the default chat settings. right click the chat tab, then go to settings, then other, then item/money loot.
