FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

thats not the case, i use bartender as my cooldown watcher and i dont want any buttons to be faded

When you switch specs, all bars' buttons gets changed to that spec.

Try this:
Close WoW client.
If you have WoW installed into Program Files - move it the hell outta there. To C:\Games\World of Warcraft for example.
Rename %WoW%/Interfaces and %WoW%/WTF folders to, say, Interfaces_Old and WTF_Old
Start game. Login any of your characters.
Close WoW client.
Install only Bartender into newly created Interfaces folder.
Start game. See if your settings are back in place.

My wow is on a separate hard drive. Renamed both to _Old logged in. Manually installed bartender 4.4.15. Still no state config for dual or stance.

I really like bartender, can you give me a custom script to do dual spec? I want bars 1-5 to go 6-10.

Try this:
Close WoW client.

Nope. Didn't work. I went to preset and did a full reset. Didn't work. Also went to profiles and reset it there. Still displays only alt/shift modifiers on state configuration for my 69 deathknight.

It only has shift/alt switching. Also, on other characters who also have dual spec the stance switcher is not there. This is really annoying because I want to start using my dual specs.
