Boda UI - Discontinued.  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 4.2
by: Bodasafa [More]

Great news everyone! I plan on returning to the game in WoD and releasing this UI publicly again! Stay tuned!

Announcements
• Version 4.2 is now Live! Changes include a master font for the entire game to complete the look and a few minor tweaks. Also a new DBM skin for the bars. To download that by itself check out my Boda UI - DBM Skin.

• The resolution for this UI is 1920x1080 and will only be released for that resolution. If you wish to use this UI for a different resolution you will have to unlock and move the addons yourself. The time it takes to do this depends on your working knowledge of addons in general. Though with the new centered layout, most anyone should have to move is the stuff in the top right corner. I also recommend reading the "Different Resolutions" section of my Guide linked in the "Help and Support" section below.

• This UI is specifically designed for a Warrior Tank in Raiding situations. However many users of different Classes and Specs have been able to modify it so suit their needs. Since moving to Raven (which controls all buffs and debuffs) it should automatically show your specific debuffs on your target and your specific active cooldowns. You should only need to Blacklist the things you do not want shown.

• I do not use a player portrait. Icehud displays my health and rage so a duplicate of that is wasted screen space. You should keybind “Target Self” to a key. When you press this key you will see “You” in the Target frame. You then right click this frame to get all the options you would via a normal player portrait.

Installation
• Backup and then delete your WTF and Interface Folders.
• Download the UI and put the new WTF and Interface Folders in.
• Rename the appropriate folders with YOUR information.
• Your Account Name
• Your Server Name
• Your Character Name
• For a more detailed explanation on how to install a User Interface refer to my guide linked in the “Help and Support” section below.

In Game Set Up
• Login and stop at the character selection screen.
• Click the Addons button in the lower left corner and enable all addons.
• Once inside the game type the following slash commands and select the BodaUI profile for each.
/buttonfacade
/bt
/chatter
/chinchilla
/icehud
/kgpanels config
/msbt
/mbf
/omen
/pitbull
/raven
/recount
/sldatatext
/suf
/tidyplates (and expand the threat plates selection)
• Once all profiles are set reload your UI. Some addons will not appear set such as Chinchilla until you do this.
• Log out to save the profiles.
• Check for updates to all addons. Once all addons have been updated, log in, change your keybindings/macros and your done!
• Every time you update DBM you need to re-skin, its very easy. For instructions check out Boda UI - DBM Skin.

Special Thanks Goes Out To

i know kg is a pain in the but sometimes, but might be worth looking into, i know if this problem persists i will try to find a way to use the textures with kg(last time i used it just before 3.1 it ran without a problem)
The issue is probably when you swap accounts, I have not had a single error or bug with eepanels since the day I installed it and no warnings. If I had the issues you point out I would have switched to KG and figured out the config long ago. Until I see eepanels break, I will be using it.

Talking UI

Very nice UI... i got everything to work fine and i play on a 50 inch tv as a 1808x1004(wide) setting. IT was very easy to get everything to fit and look good

On a side note, I'm looking for some feed back from users of this UI.

1) Did you find my install instructions easy to follow?
2) If not, what would you have me word differently?
3) Is there any other helpful information or screen shots I could provide on my download page?

Thanks in advance,
-Boda

I had that same issue with profiles not showing up when I d/l 5.1. Went back and installed the archived 5.0 version and everything worked fine. Am I missing something with 5.1?

Great UI btw. Thanks

Not sure tbh. This is the only way I know how to package a UI.

First off thanks!

Second the issues with chinchilla are due to the changes they have made to keep up with minor patch changes. The config is fairly easy to figure out just right click on the minimap to bring up the options resize and drop it in the box I have made for it.

love the UI, been using it since december(ish). love the revamp. one change i did was to swap the target frame to use X-perl's (i like the summarized numbers more, 20M/24M is al lot easier to understand than 20152367/24000000, as well as the general feel of the frame and its targetoftarget (im more bars than numbers :P) ). i also removed what i think was Xraidstatus and replaced it with Recount for my own vanity(i DPS too) because RBS(Raidbuffstatus) has some similar bars, of which i never pay attention to on either addon. (my shaman uses that space for his Flototembars. tight fit, but i made it work. i can send ya Screenshots if ya like.

one thing though. and im not sure what addon is blocking it, but when i mouse over target's debuffs, i dont get a tooltip. bit of a conveniece thing but it has gotten in my way a few times. if its part of X-perl, know which option to swap out? ive been scouring it forever.

also, with the minimap buttons in the top left of the main cluster, i dont feel like im getting them all (BG icons dont show up so i cant ghetto hearth from WG : / ) any clue on how to get that to show up?

other than that, its a very nice package and i very much enjoy it. a little tweaking and it works just fine for a clicker/hotkeyhybrid feral druid tank raid leader.thanks for all the work

The tooltip issue is from probably from tiptac. Type /tiptac to go through the options and check there.

For the minimap buttons, you right click the Mini Map itself to get into the config to turn on stuff, also in conjunction with Mini Map Button Frame which can be accessed through your standard blizz menu sub section interface, in the addons tab.
