PlayerScore Overview
PlayerScore is the next evolution of GearScore and aims at providing a utility infinitely more useful then just the score of a player's equipment. PlayerScore provides raid leaders with a wealth of instant knowledge such as

The very purpose of this addon is to present information and thats all. If I wanted it to tell people exactly what was good and what wasn't then I would have a list of every trinket and which ones sucked and which ones don't. Instead all I do is measure the power of an item defined by Blizzard itself. Of course some items will suck more then others but thats the way of life. Its up to the player to use this addon to be as little, or a much "elitist" as they want. And if you can't understand the fact that its the person who is being a jerk's fault that they are being a jerk then I highly suggest you take a step back and inspect your logic. Finally, I have no problem with an addon that fakes a player's GearScore. That however, is not what GearScoreBreaker is designed to do. Its sole purpose is to harass players and completely corrupt their GearScore database beyond use. This is intentionally malicious behavior and is potentially against the TOS/EULA. How would you feel if somebody wrote an addon that completely screwed every user who wanted to use something you wrote? You wouldn't like it would you? So I suggest you step down from your all mighty high-horse and come back to earth for a moment. NOW, the discussion is over. Good day sir.

I don't see why there is a debate over this addon. The addon has a function and it does it really great. It does what many websites already do.
It takes your gear and puts it into a number. A great way at finding if they meet the gear standards for a particular instance. This saves time from manually looking at their gear instead. Now, the only reason people are mad, disgusted, and getting frustrated over this addon is because they are not using it the right way and are not viewing it the right way. GearScore should not be the sole reason that you would accept or deny a player. Of course, if they were well below the limit, then it could be a leading factor. Instead, GearScore is meant as an easy way to judge someone's gear. Instead of going to www.WoWArmory.com or having to inspect each raid member, you can quickly view their score and decide whether it will be on par. Maybe it's a little bit low than you want, but if you go ahead and look at how they gem and such, then you can have a better decision. What's wrong with this? There is nothing. The problem is that people WILL use this addon as the one and only factor in a player's ability at the game. They WILL say "You need a 5000 GearScore, yours is only 4999". But this is not the addon's fault. It's the users of the addon. I don't see why you would want an addon to block GearScore from obtaining a score from you. It simply takes your gear and spits it into a scaled number to compare with other players. It's like inspecting one person and then another, and seeing the differences. Bottom line: GearScore should be used and seen as it actually is meant to be - an easy way to judge a player's gear without having to manually inspect and figuring out how well there gear is. It should be used leniently and should not be the sole factor in determining a player's ability in the game. But, like I said previously, it's a great "first step" in determining if the player fits your raid.

If they take preventative measures to being scored via another addon, I assure you that they know the possible consequences of "deceiving" a the score. If not, then they are naive. But also realize that if their score isn't high enough, the end result could be the same anyways. But there is this thing called called "player intelligence" that just doesn't calculate well into addons. Believe it or not, some people value this over some number generated based on some guy's opinion of what's "good" and are willing to help them get geared up to replace some other douche who happens to have a 5k+ GS but is dumb as a box of rocks. If a player wishes to be judged on this, they should have the option to avoid being "scored". Let's face a common agreement here: this addon can make or break groups, even entire guilds. It can make or destroy potentially good players all because of a stupid number. It forces a player to be judged a certain way based on an opinion and gives them no option to avoid it. It is rapidly becoming the driving force of the game, which I find quite pathetic to those who use this number as a sole base to judge a player. GearScore's intentions are clear: to become the dominate factor in raids and parties. If someone tries to avoid it, then it'll be worked around. The author has made it clear that everyone will stand HIS judgement, whether they like it or not. Solution is simple. Give players the freedom to not be scored if they so choose. It's their right. Point made, discussion over. PM me if you wish to continue debating this obvious fact.

Seems like the 3.1.13 requires Bonus Scanner. It's telling me missing dependencies.
Is this inteded or something wrong?
