SquidFrame allows you to change your standard WoW Player Frame... Type /squidframe or /sf for option menu. You can use an optional alt click command to drag the frame wherever you like; and it has a 3D portrait just for fun.

Note:
I first started with [Class Player Frame] which didn't have the option to change the player frame in-game and I don't know how to do that . But then I remember about [SquidMod] (I always love this addon since SAM first started it) now maintained by Ganders, instead of gryphon I want to change player frame so it's pretty much the same useless addon .
I uses most of the codes from SquidMod by Ganders for SquidFrame to work, so the credits goes to him. I just want to share this addon.

Note:
currently updated by Triadian v2.0 onwards

Hmm ok dunno if these will work as a temp or perma solution but here are a few ideas:
  • Make the addon reload the UI by itself when you switch frames.
  • Make the addon remember/save which frame is used by which character (much like what EliteFrame does) so for example I can have the DK frames on my warlock, mage or priest and the rare or squid on my druid.
  • Add both of the above aforementioned features

i can move those 2 dk frames to background but then everytime you want to switch frame you have to reloadui.

Nice we got an update, the sword frames are my favorites! Alas there is a slight problem with the druid class... When shapeshifted the druid, as of patch 3.2, is able to see his/her mana bar. With this addon enabled and while using either of the two Blizzcon '07 DK frames (swords) the mana bar is not shown. This does not happen when using the other frames (rare, rare elite, elite and squid).

It would be nice if you can look into it

I've create separate addon for glow fx, DKUF. It doesnt have frame indication of which presence is currently active though. I'll try to add it when i get back from vacation.

Can I make a request for this mod plz?
What I want is the greatsword and sword glow ability with 3 colours (for unholy, frost and blood). I have provided all 6 photoshoped outcomes here:

Hey! I have created a frame that gives me the rareelite frame+the DK axe with glow (photoshoped) and I saved it as tga in textures. So I went into the .lua file and added this :

"squid",
"deathknight1",
"deathknight2",
"rare",
"elite",
"eliterare",
"mydk",
}

For some reason when I type in /squif mydk I get a standard frame but I can see a littlebit of glow left on it. As if the frame is loaded but not the actual outside. Plz help!
