I tested it with a guild member and could not reproduce the bug with the travelers mount.
I tried to change something in that lib... maybe it helps to fix your problem

Sorry, still doesn't work. Same error.

I tried disabling every addon except Dotit, but that didn't help either. ;(

It looks like if the library I'm using is a bit to heavy for what I want to do here and so I will use my own cooldown handling code. Next version should be hopefully up in a few hours.

Edit: Uploaded new version which does not use the cooldown lib anymore.

Its working great with mounts now.

I have two bugs now.

1) The first bug is that the spell icons disappear from time to time while they are at or near the middle of the bar.

2) The second is that the spell durations are off by a few seconds. The icons cross the 0 seconds tick mark about 3-4 seconds before the dot actually wears off of the npc.

Keep up the great work! IMO, this addon is the way to go in terms of dealing with dots. Months from now, I can easily see dot timers being a thing of the past.

The second "problem" is by design. The spell runs out when the icon is fully through the 0 second mark. That means that in the horizontal case you have to wait till the right side crosses the 0 second position (in the vertical case the top position of the icon has to go through the 0 second mark)

And to the other problem: Where does that happen (dots, short buffs, cooldowns)? What are you doing exactly?

To the first problem:

This occurs because I can't check if a dot from a target (that you are not targeting) is refreshed from you or someone else. I thought that I do not have to check it because the source GUID is 0 (thought it is only called for my own debuffs). But this is not the case and so some strange behavior could occur.
I think that this is a blizzard bug because the source GUID should be never zero. So I added a hotfix... wich introduces the little problem that is not possible to track stacking dots from something that is not your current target (means mainly you can't track stacking aoe dots ... so only deadly poison combined with FoK will be only counted once and not be refreshed).

hello again.

The progress is great on this mod, but I have a couple of errors to report

-When casting a dot, the icons of other dots on that target often get overwritten. the icons dissapears, but sometimes they come back again several seconds later.

-When using the Singeltager-tacking option (thx for listening to that suggestion btw) the targets names dissapears (as it should) but if using this option while still doting multiple targets (adds on bossfights etc) the addon still creates bars for the all the different mobs. I would really like it to to just show the bars showing dots on the current target (at the botton of the timeline), hiding all other bars even if therre is dots on other targets.

To clearify how I would like the singeltargetoption to work: If i dot up target nr1, the addon should show all dots on that target, but no target-name is needed. if I then start attacking target nr2 while target nr1 is still alive, the bar for mob nr1 shoud dissapear and be replaced by the bar for mob nr2. if switching target to nr1 again, the bar shall show dots for mob nr1.
This way only one bar shall show at all times, saving screenspace.

To the first problem:
Are you using the latest version when this happened? Because I already changed some code to deal with that problem but I haden't had the change to test it in a raid environment (the problem is mainly other people with the same spells and a blizzard bug which lead to that problems)
Second:
This is intended by design but I will add something so that you only see your current target.
This will introduce the little problem that in rare cases it might be possible that I cannot determine the spellschool color (which means that the bar will appear in white if the spell has no color assigned)

I have a small bug but one none the less. When I log in or reload my ui the bar seems to move back to it's original location. If I look at the position part of the config the numbers of where I want it are correct but it's actual location is wrong. I have found that reentering one of these numbers moves it back.

Don't really understand what you mean with "move back". If you want to compare the numbers if they are right you have to use the RIGHT side of the bar (in the vertical case it is the TOP)... so if you have the 10 second mark and the icon is in the middle of the 10 sec mark ... then this means that there are more then 10 seconds left on this buff (depending on your setup). As soon as the right side passes the 10 second mark ... then there are 10 seconds left.

If this is not your problem please give me a screenshot or some kind of explanation because I have no idea what you mean.


BTW: I think I have identified the bug which leaded to the problem that bars may get lost (to be correct they are not lost but are overlapping incorrectly ... so the smaller bars were hidden by the bigger ones).
At least I tried it for half an hour now and it seems to work without any problems.

remove?

Hi, thanks for the great mod. Quick question, is it possible to remove spells that I've inserted? Because I glyphed an ability that reduces the duration of it, but when I unglyph it, I want DotIt to adjust.

I'm also having this particular problem. I'm a warlock and i'm specced affliction.
What i've noticed is that haunt, immolate and unstable affliction seem to randomly remove the other two from the bar, or if there is conditions for it i'm not able to figure out what the cause is. They also appear again and pulse for half a sec when the duration ends.

Otherwise I really love the concept of this mod, and i hope this helps you to fix it. I'd really love to use it but with this bug it's basically unusable.
