Main purpose of creating this UI was to create a lightweight interface that runs on my shitty PC, without losing to much utility and without looking like crap.
The name simply comes from my oUF layout. This UI is build around it.
The UI basically doesn't need a setup ingame, since version 1.9. All custom settings can be done by lua.
oUF_Asym UI is made to work for 1440x900, it works out of the box for 1680x1050 and 1920x1200, ... should work for all widescreen resolutions.
It comes with A LOT of different bartextures and fonts, see oUF_Asym fonts/texture folder and dArt folder.
There is also some nice art to play around with located in dArt/Art.
i.e.
I don't use any UI scale at all. I don't have this option checked. Or in other words this UI is basically build around an UI scale of 1.0. If you are using another resolution as 1440x900, you might have to adjust your UI scale until it fits. |

Tried out new oUF_Asym. In the version I used before I made a lot of changes to position etc.
Now with 1.9 the castbar is overlaying the player frame, is this intended behaviour/positioning? It is indeed very cool looking but very irritating for caster classes who might want to keep an eye on their health. I'd know how to move the castbar, it's just curiosity Also dFader is a nice idea but I guess many will stick to 2-3 fixed bars. dArt fails to show the background panel on my warrior, no problem on my shaman. some conflict with spawning backdrop panel because of stances?

Keybindings are done through blizzards interface, just like you do it for normal blizz bars. Showing the bars is supposed to be like that. If you target something (i.e. yourself) you see some of them, the rest is on mouseover. My current version (unreleased, yet) of rActionBarStyler can also show certain bars on keypress - shamelessly stolen from nMainbar. *cough*

Hey, great UI, although I'm having issues keybinding and showing the bars, also, whenever my pet is out it displays the blizzard pet bar with no icons.

I saw in the latest version that the readycheck was implemented.
But when I copied the code from the raid part into my .lua file it still doesnt work. I dont see any icons. Is there something more I should do? edit: forgot to add the oUF_Readycheck folder :s

1.8d fixes Chicchai's resizing issue. Was caused by using a tga as background. I'll see if it's possible with blp in a later release. However, it's finally working again.

I have that in mind for quite a while, but it has no high priority, right now.

Hello.
I am annoyed that raid frames wont load if i log in during combat (i.e. huge issue if one crashes during a boss). The issue seems to be explained here. Basically I want to know: Would you consider adding Class Colors compatibility as an option in your ouf configuration? |

The chat frames are a bit bugged, right now - the size is fucked up, had no time to investigate that issue, yet. Reseting the chatframes helped for me If everything is to big .. what UI scale do you use ? The UI doesn't use any UI scale, you should switch that option off (and /rl afterwards). And like always, a screen says more than 1000 words to help fixing bugs. |

This is a very lovely UI, although I am having a number of issues with it.
The first and biggest issue I have is the font size. I've looked around and...well, I can't figure out what's what. It's simply too big. In fact...everything's quite big. Especially the character/social/etc boxes. I have habits of maneuvering, fighting, even raiding with those things open at times, and they are taking up a -lot- of screen real estate. Is there any way to resize those boxes and shrink the font size/change the font type? If so, what is the slash command to bring up the options menu? Following that theme, what is the slash command for the unit frames? I'd like to be able to target myself by clicking on myself. Also, what do I do to detach the tooltip from the pointer?
