hud  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.2
by: Mickelus [More]

hud

Configuration can be accessed with /hud

Most things should work now exept changing animations on health and power bar, left and right block and settings for runes/cp.

Clicking the top left and top right corners of your screen should do the same thing as clicking your playerframe and targetframe.

Known bugs:
-health and power bars may act strange/show inaccurate values when their values increases and/or decreases rapidly
-combo points may not show when changing to a target that you already have combo points on

I belive a video would explain the addon better than a picture.

1.2: Fixed bugs with target power bar(texcoords and UNIT_DISPLAYPOWER)
1.1: fixed some sort of bug I think.
1: Fixed bugged bars!

9: Colors for targetbars, target health changes.
8.1: Fixed bug! loelz
8: Implented some sort of interaction thing, toc bumped.
7: Fixed bugs from release 6.
6: Added condition based fading and profiles.
5: Range checks should now be fully implented.
4: Added a castbar, or more like a castring.
3: Left, right and bottom bars should now be able to track buffs/debuffs.
2: you may now use the sweeping animation on the healthbar. Now using .zip . Does not yet use blizzards animation system (me so slack). toc bump.
1: Initial release

I see... well, what was it meant to be based on, and any clues as to why it won't change from the default white? lol

Quick question.

I just installed the newest version, and for some reason the coloring of target health based on their reaction to you isn't working. Anyone else having this/know a fix?

Also, any plans for OOC fading?

Very cool... biggest suggestions would be the ability to change colors of things and the ability to adjust opacity when nothing is targeted or when not in combat.

I would like to thank you for this fantastic addon. It has a lot of potential.

Some suggestions:

Provide transparency options when not targeting something or when ooc.
Provide text timers to left, right, and bottom bars.
Provide an option to have the runes at the bottom of the circle, and the range check to the left.
Make it modular: that is, break the circle into 4 parts, each with its own location/options.
As for the textures, gcd would be FANTASTIC.

Again, just some suggestions. Thanks for creating and sharing this addon with us.

Wink hud

that's a very good hud!

But the player health bar has'nt color fading system, you can create a simple color fading system with color picker
Exmple: "one color 1/20 to 6/20" one else 7/20 to 13/20 and one else ti 14/20 to20/20 (sorry for my bad english, i don't speak englishwrry well^^)

that's a very original hud congratulations

That's awesome. Any plans to maybe implement party arrows on that main arrow line? The other persons idea about a "cartographer" arrow is nice too. Seeing as I use cartographer simply so that I have that arrow to use in conjunction with questhelper.

Nice addition to the HUD.

It is set up so that when nothing is select the main HUD disappears but the compass still remains. The inner ring of the compass changes colors to reflect the type of unit selected. (i.e. red = enemy, yellow = neutral, green = friendly, everything else = white)

I'm having so much fun with this addon.
could there be addon another arrow for QuestHelper? An arrow the next point like with questhelper does on minimap?

Hmm imo it's getting too cluttered with the compass and I really don't think this is very useful. At least for me it isn't because I'm usually aware of where my enemy's are.

Would be a nice idea to make it optional though. Could help finding someone you want to trade with in a city or so.

For Raiding I really would like to see a aggro bar and maybe something to track some of my CD's.

the disadvantage about htis mod is that you can't right click the frame so the drop down option is not available... so making it harder to leave a current party or set loot optsion/isntance mode etc...
