Configuration can be accessed with /hud

Most things should work now exept changing animations on health and power bar, left and right block and settings for runes/cp.

Clicking the top left and top right corners of your screen should do the same thing as clicking your playerframe and targetframe.

Known bugs:
-health and power bars may act strange/show inaccurate values when their values increases and/or decreases rapidly
-combo points may not show when changing to a target that you already have combo points on


I belive a video would explain the addon better than a picture.

1.2: Fixed bugs with target power bar(texcoords and UNIT_DISPLAYPOWER)

8: Implented some sort of interaction thing, toc bumped.

6: Added condition based fading and profiles.

4: Added a castbar, or more like a castring.
3: Left, right and bottom bars should now be able to track buffs/debuffs.
2: you may now use the sweeping animation on the healthbar. Now using .zip . Does not yet use blizzards animation system (me so slack). toc bump.
1: Initial release

Please don't try to incorporate mimimap and power aura type stuff into this mod >.>

it's a hud, let it stay a hud without bloating with things other mods do fine.

i cant seem to get the range check actually working
i must be doing something wrong

for testing i put in Attack for range button 1, with a separate color to show when i am in and not in range. tried steady shot also for a ranged attack.

the bars never change color, and it shows that i am always within range.

What's this range you speak of? The range checks works and I can't see what other range stuff you'd like

this is pretty nice, and after a few hours in naxx I think this could really work for me... and looks cool

edited the lua to remove the target and ToT names as i dont really need them.

as for things i would like to see, I dont really have anything new than what others have said.. pet, range, the ability to change the right blocks for hunter talents....

also: what i would love to see is that minimap addon that i see in your video

edit: what I would like those top L/R blocks to show is specific buff/debuffs

I use Power Auras to let me know whether i am in viper or DragonHawk (since i hate to be halfway into a fight and find out i had forgotten to take viper off), and it would be nice to have it all in one

With ya on that one, like the mod so far, but it could really use this feature and of course range and threat yada yada.

That's why then, the frames are like 2 x 2 in size, so they are pretty hard to click if your not playing in fullscreen.

Spare block ideas:

Threat -
I'm with Led here. Show white for low threat. Yellow for greater than 90% threat. Red when you have threat.

Status -
How about status colors? Poison, curse, disease.

I think those blocks would look better as indicators through color, rather than bars that fill or drain.

The circle around the char makes the hud feel very restricted. Relocating the top bar would break it up a bit and avoids the tunnel vision effect this hud produces.

Enjoying the mod so far, seems to take a lot less CPU and memory than DHud/MetaHUD do. Three requests

1. Put in some way to disable or at least configure the target health display - I don't really want it displayed, and definitely don't want in the default color opacity

2. Put in some way to disable or set size/opacity on the health/power text displays

3. Add an option to make the spinning inner ring that you currently use for the "i'm casting now" instead show your current attack speed/haste. Basically it should start spinning when you start meleeing or autoshooting or casting at a target, and only get faster if your attackspeed/casting speed gets faster. Right now it looks very cool, but I don't think the "get faster as we approach the end of a cast" is a particularly useful indicator of how far you are into a cast anyway. The above would be:

a. ridiculously cool
b. useful for caster, melee and hunters

edit: FWIW, I managed to modify the mod to do #3 myself. Only caveat is I can't find a way to determine what my attack speed before haste effects is (the API gives you your attack speed *after* current haste effects easily enough), so right now it's hardcoded to assume a particular weapon speed - this still works fine though since it's just used to calculate rotation speed and changing this constant just changes the overall rotation speed

I can post a patch of the changes if you like, but they're small enough that I'm sure you could do them yourself - UnitAttackSpeed() and UnitRangedDamage() are the two functions for your current speed, and START_AUTOREPEAT_SPELL and PLAYER_ENTER_COMBAT are the events for ranged and melee autoattack respectively (they have nothing to do with actually entering and leaving combat)

Energy Update

As a Rogue it is important to pool your energy for maximum dps. Without smooth updates in 1 energy steps pooling energy is more difficult. Would be very nice to have an option to turn on energy polling instead of waiting for UNIT_ENERGY. Also having the target name optional would be awesome.

Another cool feature perhaps would be a sort of red glow around the hud when you have Aggro on the mob, perhaps even make it appear only when you're grouped.

It shouldn't be to bright or flashy, just something on the background of the hud just enough to notice it.
