QuestGuru is a Quest Log Enhancer.
If you are looking for the "Classic" version of QuestGuru click QuestGuru_Classic
I have split off QuestGuru and QuestGuru Sounds into two separate addons that don't rely on each other so that the community that really missed the sounds can have them with me delaying them because of the qork being done on QuestGuru. I hope this makes at least some people happy.
You can click > QuestGuru Sounds
Note: If you like this addon, please "Like it" on Curse.com.
All Donations support me and I thank you in advance for it.

Author Wanted! Send PM to Gregity to Apply
Howdy all,
I took over this AddOn when MrObrien had to quit because I didn't want to see it expire. It is my favorite AddOn and I had the time to spend to work on it. My RL situation has changed enough that I do not have the time or the energy to devote to this project. Perhaps someday again, but not now and not for the foreseeable future. So, I'm looking for a replacement author to take over this AddOn. I'll stay on until somebody steps forward but I do not have the time to do anything with the mod and it deserves a better hand at the wheel than I can provide. Please send me a PM if you are interested. Thank you, Blessings, Gregity |

Hangs up keyboard input of reload
Hi.
First of all - thank you for the addon, it's one of must have mods. Now, back to the issue. Recently my WoW started to hang up pretty oftenly. It loads up, everything works finely, but, it won't react to mouse or keyboard. Later I found that I still can press buttons on mods using mouse, like Bartender, but WoW itself won't react (i.e. - can't rotate camera, can't move, can't interact with NPCs, can't open game menu <ESC> etc.). I disabled all mods and started enabling them one by one, and running "/console reloadui" multiple times. After enabling QuestGuru Tracker (Tracker specifically) - WoW started to exhibit above mentioned behavior again. Without mods - everything works finely. Did a clean check - diabled all mods, kept only QuestGuru + Tracker enabled. Issue reproduces after a few "/console reloadui". Disabled just tracker (keeping QuestGuru enabled) - issue is gone. No errors pop up or print to chat. (And ofc issue with tracking achievements after loading screen.) Hope you could take a look into this. Best regards.

Achievement Tracker Bug
Having the same problem as many others with the achievement tracking going wrong.
Looking at the error you get (trying to work with a nil value) and the fact that it happens only on reload (ie whenever you hit a loading screen like when entering an instance or switching continents), I'm guessing it happens with a sync inssue, that the addon is trying to get the achievement info too soon, and getting nothing in response without checking for that possibility. EDIT: Yeah, looking at the code, if currLine isn't high enough to trigger the loop at line 565 (of QGT_Achievement.lua), then j is never initialized, and therefore it breaks at line 626. So j probably needs to be checked or given a default value to prevent that from happening...

Achievement tracker
I've been having the same issues as others with the seperate achiev tracker. It won't always untrack complete ones and when it's doing that I can't add any new ones to track. It tends to fix it when I close game and reopen though.

The tracker seems to be acting up the past few days - no idea if this has been an issue for longer, but I just happened to notice it now that I'm actively tracking achievements again.
The following happens: I add an achievement to my tracker (it happened with the Pandaria bonfire and the Scenaturday one). It goes okay for a while, I afk a few times, I do some scenarios and Ahune, and then I notice that the A is no longer visible in my tracker. I check my achievement window, and all achievements I had been tracking (including a few old ones that were already in the list, such as the /love for critters) are unchecked. So I re-add the achievement I wanted to check up on. The A appears again in the tracker, and I click it. The tracker goes *poof* and I can't get it back unless I relog. Any idea what this is and, most importantly of course, if it can be fixed?

Getting the same error as reported below. For me it seems to happen most when using portals / hearthstones etc while having achievements tracked.

First, let me say thankyou for your addon, I have enjoyed it for several years and a big thanks for the scenario fix! I hated activating bliz's quest tracker when going into scenario's.
The addon called Pet Tracker adds some info to the bottom of the bliz quest tracker about pets you have found in the zone (more specifically it is tied to the zone you have the map open for if it is different than your current zone). Is there a way for that info to be attached to QG Tracker? and maybe more generic of a question, anything that gets added to the bliz quest tracker.? I still wish there was a more obvious popup type thing for the self turn in quests, even if it was let me set the color of the bar that shows that it is a complete quest. I appreciate that support was added for that new (in Cata) feature, but I think it could be more useful. |

New Update for MoP Escalation 5.3
I updated the TOC for the Expansion.
I fixed the bug that caused it to blow up. I haven't extensively tested it yet, but it's not blowing up for me currently. **AND MOST IMPORTANT** I added the updates to the Tracker that CMTitan provided that made the tracker work a bit better with Scenarios. To all those who've been concerned about my invisibility I thank you. I have been dealing with a difficult situation since about the middle of last year that has severely cramped my time and my energy. Things are getting better, but it's still slow. Thanks to all of you, -g |

I'm getting an error as soon as I log in after updating to 5.3. I posting this in hopes that the addon is still being supported or someone else picks it up to fix.
