QuestGuru is a Quest Log Enhancer.
If you are looking for the "Classic" version of QuestGuru click QuestGuru_Classic

I have split off QuestGuru and QuestGuru Sounds into two separate addons that don't rely on each other so that the community that really missed the sounds can have them with me delaying them because of the qork being done on QuestGuru. I hope this makes at least some people happy.

Features include:

Enhanced 2 page quest display in the log
Patch 6.0 broke QuestGuru, so this is a completely different monster
Conforms to the WOD map quest log (Tooltips for quests and icons showing quest status)
Added full time quest level in front of quest name and tooltips.

I have been using it for a long while and is not half bad

TO-DO's:

Will try and revamp the quest tracker as I love it also. But wanted to get the Log out ASAP.
Try to bring back the other features of the old QuestGuru (Sounds, announcements, etc.)
Need to make a in-game config window, still a work in progress.

Q. How do I post a Bug Report?

A1 - Click on QuestGuru Go to the AddOn and on the right side there is a selection called "Bugs" click on that. You will need to be signed in to WoW Interface to create a bug report.
A2 - Or file a ticket on QuestGuru@CurseForge

Please include the version of QuestGuru you are using and copy/paste the error message you receive.
Please describe what you were doing when the error happened. This will help tremendously.

Q. How do I turn on auto-tracking of quests?

A - Look in the options for the game itself, not QuestGuru. Under Objectives there are options to set when to track quests.
QuestGuru does not duplicate these settings in its own options as it could become problematic and it is not necessary to duplicate options already available.

Q. Where can I find a version compatible with WoW patch x?

A. QuestGuru is supported for the current Expansion and Patch level running on the live servers. PTR versions may be supported as Alpha or Beta releases, but I offer no guarantee.

For me, it's failing on "Shadow Wardens" and perhaps that's because the world tree marks are currency, not "items".
If the quest is an event quest (get 150 marks) then the type of quest should be event and the numObjectives should be zero.

I hate Blizzard's implementation - the size just isn't big enough for me. I started using QuestGuru because it replaced several addons I was using. Just sayin'.

My Dwf hunter who did all the begining dwf quest. The log shows he didnt do any of them. To bad you cant go back and do them again...sigh

In the quest display (the right-hand pane of the quest log), if the quest contains a required item, the Description heading and all subsequent content doesn't reparent to the item (or move itself down to make room for the item). So the "Description" header overlaps the item. This is quite obvious in many quests, including several of the Argent Tournament dailies. I'm sure it's a simple Lua reflow technique that didn't get copied from the Blizzard quest log Lua for 3.3. (I also maintain a quest log add-on, so I'm familiar with what patches generally do to these.) Just cosmetic. Thanks!

I'll have to look at it more. It was hard to get the spacing right on the PTR because Blizzard had their feedback elements everywhere. The right hand side, and in fact the entire quest log, is Blizzard's, I just tap into it to change a few things, but QuestGuru is not a replacement or copy of their code.

exactly and thats why i liked it cause the blizzard default quest log (even after it went side by side) sucks.

It's not that I don't care, it's that I don't have time. The original intent of QuestGuru was to create a side-by-side quest log. It grew to much more than that, but now Blizzard has added a lot of the functionality of QuestGuru to the game, so I've simplified the addon into something that I actually have time to maintain.

After getting this error, I cannot abandon quests (and ones that I complete still show up in log as uncompleted), new quests won't appear after I accept them (and strangely enough, I took the daily cooking/fishing this morning before work, and now they aren't in log at all, even after deleting the saved variables in both the wtf/account folder and in the specific toon folder). I have deleted any and all quest guru folders in the addon's directory (including the history folders) and reinstalled, and deleted the .lua and .lua.bak files in teh saved variable folders, all to no avail. Just thought I'd let you know. -=[EDIT]=- Found that zoning from Dal to Shat cleared the completed quests, but daily fishing/cooking still not showing up. -=[EDIT #2]=- Also noticed that when I log in (since the 3.3.0 patch), if I have both achievements and quests tracked, it will start by showing the achievements. Before the patch, it seemed to remember that I wanted the quests shown (in teh tracker).
