    QuestGuru is a Quest Log Enhancer.

    I have split off QuestGuru and QuestGuru Sounds into two separate addons that don't rely on each other so that the community that really missed the sounds can have them with me delaying them because of the qork being done on QuestGuru. I hope this makes at least some people happy.

    Features include:

    • Enhanced 2 page quest display in the log
    • Patch 6.0 broke QuestGuru, so this is a completely different monster
    • Conforms to the WOD map quest log (Tooltips for quests and icons showing quest status)

    I have been using it for a long while and is not half bad

    Q. How do I post a Bug Report?
    • A1 - Click on QuestGuru Go to the AddOn and on the right side there is a selection called "Bugs" click on that. You will need to be signed in to WoW Interface to create a bug report.
    • A2 - Or file a ticket on QuestGuru@CurseForge
    • Note:
    • Please include the version of QuestGuru you are using and copy/paste the error message you receive.
    • Please describe what you were doing when the error happened. This will help tremendously.
    Q. How do I turn on auto-tracking of quests?
    • A - Look in the options for the game itself, not QuestGuru. Under Objectives there are options to set when to track quests.
    • QuestGuru does not duplicate these settings in its own options as it could become problematic and it is not necessary to duplicate options already available.
    Q. Where can I find a version compatible with WoW patch x?
    • A. QuestGuru is supported for the current Expansion and Patch level running on the live servers. PTR versions may be supported as Alpha or Beta releases, but I offer no guarantee.

    For me, it's failing on "Shadow Wardens" and perhaps that's because the world tree marks are currency, not "items".
    If the quest is an event quest (get 150 marks) then the type of quest should be event and the numObjectives should be zero.

    The taint issues of this addon are so off the hook!

    I don't care if you're exposing bugs made by Blizzard of whatever the excuse. The truth of the matter here is the addon doesn't work. The game and other addons work fine without your addon. If Blizzard were to blame, the whole thing would have been collapsed.

    I hope you fix it soon. If someone can find an alternative addon(s) I'd also be highly appreciated.

    p.s. This is also a response to your arrogance post on curse. I didn't post there because you stated clearly you're deleting negative comments there.

    I'm using the latest Quest Guru and not having the problem. I've put all sorts of Glyphs onto my Priest since putting it on.

    Since code doesn't change the cut of it's jib per person I'd say it is a problem on your end .

    I installed the actual (1.5.1) Version of GuruQuest. I get the same result like Reolin. I can't set any glyphes when QuestGuru is running!

    I get the message, that this option is a blizzard option only when I want to set a new glyphes! (here I get this blizzard option to ignore or to disactivate this addon)
    When I turned QuestGuru off, the glyphe placing works like designed.

    The problem should be on the side of QuestGuru :-(
    Is there a way to fix this up?

    I mentioned when I released 1.5.1 that QuestGuru exposes a bug in WoW that causes taint issues, such as when applying glyphs and when entering and exiting vehicles.

    Also, please update to the latest version before reporting bugs. I release 1.5.1 well before you reported errors you received while using 1.5

    This beautiful addon started the slow decent to death,
    the moment it was decided to abandon the taint-free v2.0 beta that only modified the default quest frame instead of replacing it.

    Blizzard will not fix taint issues they had 2 years to do it.

    It is left to addons to try find ways around the problem imho than keep breaking.

    I've been maintaining that 2.0 beta2 privately and using the tracker from the newer versions standalone,
    but the above is the last nail in the coffin for me personally. (now the tracker taints as well?)

    I'm getting a really weird error when trying to put learned glyphs in my slots. After I get this error, I'm unable to put the glyph in its slot until I relog (and risk getting the error all over again).

    Does the QuestGuru_Tracker support quest POIs like the default tracker when available?

    (the small icons next to tracked quests that open the map with the area for the objective or turn-in)

    For Hallow's End I was tracking the Candy Bucket achievements. They're all quite long lists, and of course the zone I'm in is always the bottom one for some weird reason, so I figured I'd scroll down to the list in question. Before the patch that used to work just spiffy, but nowadays I get the error below:
