SUF focuses on a simple configuration while maintaining the flexibility that most users will care about, preventing unnecessary bloating of the addon that sacrifices performance. While you aren't going to be able to set the health bar to be exactly 3.14 pixels outside of the unit frames, you can change options you actually care about such as bar height, ordering, frame height and so on. To speed up configuration, you can configure multiple units at the same time through the global configuration. For example, if you want to set the height of the Player, Target, Focus and Party frames to 50 then the height of Target's Target, Target's Target of Target, Focus Target to 30 you can easily do this by changing two options instead of having to do it seven times.

However, should you need a little bit of extra configuration do not despair! An advanced option is included that will unlock additional configuration giving finer control over the configuration.

Anchoring
Are you driven crazy by your party frames not aligning up exactly with your player frames, even if it's only half a pixel off? The anchoring system will let you solve all alignment issues, by allowing you to anchor a frame to another and set a simple offset from the frame it is anchored to, or by manually setting the X/Y position of the frame.

Using the screen shot as an example, if you drag the player frame the other frames will move with the player frame preserving the alignment and spacing. Each frame can still be manually positioned wherever you want, but this gives you a way of easily anchoring and moving frames around without having to use a ruler.

Zone configuration (Disabling options/units by zone type)
Units and modules can be enabled or disabled based on the type of zone you are in. For example, if you want to see party targets and party pets while you are in an arena but nowhere else then you can use the visibility options to enable it only while inside an arena. Modules can also be disabled by zone type, if you want to see party auras while in a raid instance but nowhere else you can disable the module in raid instances only.

Profiles do not have to be swapped and it is all automatic.

Supports unit frames are as follows:

Player: Player, Pet, Pet Target
General: Target, Target of Target, Target of Target of Target, Focus, Focus Target
Party: Party, Party Pets, Party Targets, Party ToT
Raid: Raid, Raid Pet, Main Tank, Main Tank Target, Main Assist, Main Assist Target, Boss, Boss Target, Boss ToT, Main Assist ToT, Main Tank ToT
Arena: Arena, Arena Target, Arena Pets, Arena ToT
Battleground: Battleground, Battleground Target, Battleground Target

Features

  • Tags: Includes a simple tagging system that can be customized in virtually any way using Lua, even if something isn't included by default odds are you can make the tags
  • Incoming Heals: Supports the Blizzard Events for incoming heal data, no external libraries needed
  • Auras: Can be set to only show auras you casted, or can cast on others. Can enlarge auras that you casted, and hide the cooldown ring on the timers of auras you didn't cast as well to make it more obvious which ones you casted and which ones you didn't
  • Aura Timers: You will need a mod such as OmniCC to show timers on buffs and debuffs
  • Aura Indicators: Display colored squares or icons for certain auras on any unit
  • Fader: Fades frames when out of combat and inactive (100% mana/no target)
  • Class Power (Eclipse, Holy Power, etc): Supports all of the class power features from Eclipse to Burning Embers.
  • Highlighting: Border highlighting of frames based on mousing over them, curable debuffs, aggro or you are targeting/focusing them
  • Range Checking: Fades frames out that are out of range of you
  • Exportable Layouts: If you have a layout, or your friend has a layout you want to try out you can export/import SUF layouts by going to /suf -> Layout Manager
  • Profiles: You can change from any profile to another one without reloading your UI, should you want to use a completely different layout based on zone you can easily switch profiles without hassle

Pretty much all the general unit frame settings are in, health bars, cast bars, power bars, portraits, indicators and so on.

Sorry double post also in the grid raid frames or whatnot I would like to see the persons full name is this possible?

Also on the buffs and debuffs how do i get rid for the timer for buffs?

I didn't read all the comments but my biggest gripe is once a player joins a raid or party, their name starts in raid unit 35 or something. I want the second someone joins my party or raid is for them to be the first onces to show in raid 1 2 3 4 not the later.

Raid / party frame bug outs: Sorry I'm an idiot, I just pushed a fix but if you see this before it's approved get the version at http://github.com/Shadowed/ShadowedU...es/tree/master

Any other misc issues with raid or party frames should be fixed by this too.

Zhoktov: It increases it by 30% of the size, the reason you can't increase it by more is because you would have buffs colliding with each other.

pammie_ysera: It's a Blizzard issue, all custom unit frames have it. You can't do anything except use a macro with /focus in it or keybind focus to something.

Farook: Change color health by to static in /suf -> Units -> <unit> -> Bars -> Color Health By, then go to /suf -> Colors and change the Static health color.

Doomslayer: Not sure, it uses the Blizzard APIs for saying a unit has threat so if those update slowly then the actual display would update slowly too. I'll try and look into it.

I'm also having issues with the raid frames in SUF.

- I join a party and some of the names are "Unknown"
- Often there are duplicate frames for a single raid member

These just started occurring after like the latest revisions so.. it shouldn't be too hard to narrow down the issue

91127 party error

usign v91127 when i join a party, it shows the last 3 people all with teh same name. if i mouse over hte frame, it throws an error (sorry i didnt grab it)

had to go back to 2 versions ago for no errors/issues.

Im also having issues with the raid frames. tried figuring out whats wrong. thought i had it all set up so was going to AV to make sure and it looks fine.

but my in range indicator shows people in range but i cant heal them(im also using clique) sometimes it works and heals and other times it dont. even when i see the person right in front of me..i can target them and heal them from the target but not in the raid ui.

and besides that issue i have an issue with it spamming one person a bunch (usually the raid leader) its also shown me as being offline and stuff...its very frustrating just hoping you can help me fix it.

also having the same exact issue as the person right before me. and did /reload as they said and that did fix it...still doing that each time will get old anything i can do?

if theres more info you need just let me know. really like the addon seems simple enough somethings just not quite right yet.

Im having a really weird bug with the raid frames in this addon. Apologies if it has been mentioned before, but i havent seen any posts about it.

After the group make up changes (ie. say someone leaves, or the RL is moving people through different groups etc.) The raid frames dont appear to change. (players positions don't appear to have been modified) However, when i click on a player, it targets a completely different player.

I was playing with this a little earlier in a 2-man raid group.

SUF was set up like so:

[PLAYER-A] (RL)
[PLAYER-B]

At this point, i could click player-A in the raid frames, and player-A would be targetted correctly.

Next, i would move player-A into group 2. SUF would still show the raid as being:

[PLAYER-A]
[PLAYER-B]

This is fine, as it does not appear that this addon is coded to be an exact mirror of blizzards in-game raid layout anyway. However, NOW when i clicked on player-A in the raid frames, for some reason player-B would be targetted. Without touching any settings, after i THEN did a /reloadui, SUF would show the raid as being:

[PLAYER-B]
[PLAYER-A]

At this point, targetting would be accurate again. But as soon as the group makeup changed, i would get the same weird targetting issue.

This issue is the only thing keeping me from dumping grid in favour of this as my raid frames. Im loving this addon otherwise, and would appreciate any assistance.

One last question, is there a way to increase the size of my target's debuffs that I cast? I have the check box clicked but it only increases the debuff by a very small amount, is there a way to increase the size of only my debuffs.

Bug?

I just loaded your addon and it works great other then everytime I try to focus a target I keep getting an error message saying ******taintforced******has been blocked from an action only available to the blizzard UI. I disabled all my other addons and tried running only shadowed UF to see if maybe something else was interfering but I get the same message with nothing else running. Anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

I recently installed ShadowedUF_ClassPower.

It wasn't a problem to make a class colored power bar, but then I totally failed when trying to change the Health bar color to a custom color (eg to black, as in this screenshot).

Where is the setting in this addon to change health bars to a custom color? Seems I'm to blind to find it...

Thanks for the fast reply, cheers. Do you have any idea why does the refresh rate of highlight aggro seems slow? EG: Mob/enemy player is targeting a raid member, and the background did not turn into red. (disabled debuffed highlighting, only aggro is turned on)

Raid icon and sorting

- May I know how to reposition the raid icon on the raid frame, the default icon position is in the center of the frame (which will be overwritten by grid debuff).

- Also found out that the raid sorting is a little bit weird when the raid isnt full. EG: when there are 2 people in group1, 2 people in group2, Shadowed Unit Frame will show all the 4 people in group1 instead of spliting it into their respective group.

- For highlights, which one has the pirioty, Highlight aggro or debuffed. Would love to have a Border highlight instead of the whole unit frame (xperl has that option). And the highlight aggro refresh rate kinda slow.

+ i have to say its a great addon!

Class Colors

I can't seem to get my health bar to be my class colors (IE: Mage = Blue, Druid = Red etc.)

It just seems to stay the color that I have "High Health" set to.

Is there any way to fix this?
