LUI v2211 Dragonflight 10.0.2 Edition, with new versioning

Important:
- For technical support please go to the LUI Discord Server

To access the Twitter integration stuff, either disable the Chat module or type /share

If you are doing a new install and you see that the frames are overlapping, or unaligned, you need to move the frames yourself:
Chat (BottomLeft): Go over it and right click on "General" tab of the chat frame, click Unlock Window and drag the tab around until you have the frame in a position you like.
Omen (MiddleLeft): Type "/omen config" (without quotes) and uncheck Lock Omen, drag it around, once you're done, check Lock Omen again.
Recount (MiddleRight) Type "/recount config" (without quotes) and go to Window and uncheck Lock Window. Move it around, and lock it back up when you're done. You're free to re-enable the Report, File, Config icons if you want.
Raid (BottomRight): Type "/lui", go in Unitframes and change the Raid settings. Then move the lone raid frame with your name around. You may need to reload UI for changes to apply (Fix pending)

LUI v3.5.2
---------------------

UI Elements:
- New texture for the infotext bar at the top. This one is much much larger. There should be no differences for people using small resolutions (up to 1680x1050) and should come as a nice feature for people using larger ones (1920x1020) or even have dual/triple monitor setups.
- You can now attach the Raid Texture Panel to Blizzard's default raid frames by using the dropdown menu.

Unitframes:
- Vengeance has been updated again.
- Added Firelands Stuff to Raid Debuffs Icons, if you are using the LUI raid frames instead of Grid.
- Fixed a few issues with Health and Power Updates.
- If a boss has an Alternate Power, it will be displayed in place of the power bar. An example would be Onyxia and her Electrical Charge bar.
- Fixed some issues with the Reputation and Experience bars.
- Fixed issues when petframe was disabled.
- Added some more options concerning Party Frame Visibility

Infotext:
- Fixed the faction logo for BattleNet Friends. So now you can tell your friends are being traitors and will be marked with traitorous logos next to their opposite-faction characters.

Fader:
- Fixed a few comat issues.

Chat:
- Potentially fixed an error that would appear on extremely rare cases, and would end up disappearing after the ui is reloaded. Written as "potentially" due to the extremely rare and probably unreproducible nature of said error.

Extra Modules:
- There was a screw up in the 3.5.1 release that caused the Interrupt and Merchant module (after following instructions) to still not work. This has been fixed.
- Along the lines, the Merchant module has been rewritten to fixes any errors that caused its exclusion in the first place.
- Some options of the Merchant module (such as the Item Quality) may have been reset as a result of this.
- Meh

LUI v3.5.1
---------------------

Addon Support:
- Added fix for Recount having huge font unless modified. You no longer need to modify Recount to have LUI's intended font size.
- You can now choose the font size you want for Recount under the options - General > Addons

Unitframes:
- Fixed an issue with the unitframes when they were disabled.
- The Player XP and Rep Bar should now come in front of the Health/Mana Text when mouse is hovered.
- Fixed an issue with Unitframes Layouts causing havoc under certain situations
- The Swing Timer and Vengeance Bars have been updated.

InfoText:
- Fixed an issue related to fonts that appeared under certain situations.
- Updated to 4.2's Combat Log Event to fix lag during combat.
- Fixed an issue with the Friends infotext not displaying in 4.2.

MicroMenu:
- There is a new button on the micromenu for the Encounter Journal, you can find it marked with a skull, next to the dungeon finder button.
- Fixed an issue with the talent point reminder where it wasn't the intended color if you selected to use a white colored micromenu.

Options:
- Sorted the options menu so everything should be easier to find, including clicking on the white Module section to easily enable/disable certain modules within LUI

Extra Modules:
- Remove the Merchant extra module from the basic package because it is not handled by anyone on the dev team, and it is causing quite a few errors to many people.
- For LUI to load extra modules, you need to move the Extras.Xml file out of the modules folder (next to the LUI.xml), this was done to prevent your Extras.xml file from being overwritten if you were to update LUI.
- For those who had a working Merchant module and want to continue using them, just move the Extras.xml file out of the modules folder.

LUI v3.5
---------------------
Unitframes

The LUI Unitframe is now embed with the LUI addon, no more troubles with oUF not being loaded on first install, bugging the whole process. (Somehow, i think someone will still manage it)
The Unitframes have been improved alot in terms of performance, and lots of bugs were fixed.
Options have been added to Import and Export new unitframes setups, as well as being able to switch between various setups without much hassle! Import a layout, or exporting one, may or may not cause severe lag.
Added an Alternative Power Bar, used by Blizzard for many raiding encounters.
Arena Frames were added, which include frames for your opponents, their pets and their targets.
Added Heal Predictions.
BossTarget Frames added, but disabled by default.
New Raid Frames have been added, in case you do not wish to use Grid or similar addons. Take note those are somewhat experimental for now.
Unitframes now uses the same raid icons textures as the nameplates, because those are 20% cooler.

DataText

DataText has been improved alot. Efficiency and performance went up to eleven.
Now have two more info text bars. Along with having things in the Top Left and Top Right, you can now have datatexts in the Bottom left and Bottom Right.
Removed most of the UI Reloads required when enabling / disabling things.
Most option changes are now instantaneous.
New entries: Currency, DualSpec and Instance Info datatexts.
Added option to choose if you want infotext to work during combat or not.
Added option to display Home or World Latency in the bar, or both.
Added option to display your combined gold on the server, or just the current toon's gold.
Left-Clicking on the Gold will now switch between server gold and toon gold. Instead of opening the bags.
Fixed the infamous INVITE PENDING issue with the calendar...again. Blame Blizzard for having buggy API, not us.

Bags

Fixed some other bugs that prevented the bags or bank from correctly updating.
Added the Sort Button fix.

Misc.

Blizzard Errors not disabled by default anymore. This should reduce confusion by alot.
Updated the ColorPicker to Ace3, no more Ace2 libraries!
Updated and Improved the AutoAccept Invites function.
Added the Merchant and Hix_Interrupter into the main UI. Mostly because of the cooked version in fact. Their original authors will still have to update them.

There is 2 things you need to do and it will work.
1): Go to your C::/Users/(Yourcomputername)/Appdata/Local/Virtualstore/Programfiles/Worldofwarcraft and check to see if the files are changed on there, if they are not, then change them manually to LUI WTF folders.
IF YOU CANNOT SEE APPDATA FOLDER, then go to your file options and check "View hidden folders" and it will be there next time. I am not sure where file options is located... you will have to google it
2): If step 1 doesn't work, this will work guarenteed. Go to your normal world of warcraft folder, DELETE your WTF and Interface folders (YOU MUST DO IT IN YOUR APP DATA / VIRTUAL STORE FOLDER AS WELL OR IT WILL NOT WORK), so delete the WTF folder in your normal WoW folder and delete the WTF folder in your C::/Users/(Yourcomputername)/Appdata/Local/Virtualstore/Programfiles/Worldofwarcraft folder, then delete your interface folder in your normal world of warcraft folder and do not make any changes to it... Log into World of Warcraft (it should show the cinematic as if you've never played before and bad resolution), log onto your character, exit game and THEN delete the WTF folder/Interface folder that should be created in its place and replace it with LUI folders, then move into WTF folder manually and rename all of the stuff you are required to (remember not to use b.net account name and use your old one (Example - MYACCOUNTNAME) must be in all caps, then continue with normal instructions
Your welcome!!!
Actually I solved the issue yesterday before my raid. it turns out that for some reason, the UI scale is not 1, but very low (something on the order of .25) so I had to scale down the UI in the video settings in order to get it to work, but I did get it working fine. Even added an additional bar .

As far as your solution goes, I am sure it would work if WoW was actually installed from scratch, but since I use SyncToy to back up my wow directory to an external HD, I just copied it back after a clean install of Win7. Why reinvent the wheel?

Good to hear.. i can't wait for it.

Just a few tips .. since long time blizzard along with patches brought several problems for users (not every user but a great number). One of those problems is disconnects on raids and the huge FPS loss. I made some research since i experienced some problems myself, and i found out both by reading and experiencing that "Recount" and "Mik's Combat Text" drop fps dramatically on 25man instances(not for everyone). So using Skada would be an awesome idea, and making mik not that intense or modifing a bit would be great.

GL with your irl issues

everything looks and works fine. i finally switched to v3 myself.
(i had several wow installations for raiding / working and so on)

so hear is a short list whats not yet done:
- Heal Mode (5 different Grid positions / oUF Layout Changes)
- 2nd oUF Layout
- 2nd FrameLayout (v2 style)... this should take only a few hours.
- Debuff Tracker for all Classes (very simple but time intensive, especially the testing).
- PowerAuras
- Beta Test

PowerAuras is one of the greatest Addons ever but it can be very cpu / memory intensive... so i decided to built a own one with the major features of power auras.. it should use much less memory/cpu usage.

Because of the lack of time i have to develope LUI v3 there will be NO, i repeat NO Healbot support. I will add this in an upcoming update after the release.

Because of personal interest i will add Skada Support... (i hope i will have the time for it.. if not then it will defenitly come soon after the release)

Everything is very smooth and you can feel a huge different playing/raiding with v3. The cpu/memory usage is about 30% of v2. (about ~5mb memory usage atm)

There will be an open Beta Test soon... but the major problem developing and getting done with v3 is, that i have a big step to make in real life (i will move from austria to germany in about 10 days). so there is absolutly no chance to release LUI v3 within february. sorry for that.

Please do not post any comments or PMs regarding the Beta test. I will announce this once everything is done.

greetings

PS: With the Release of v3, LUI will get his own website! You will have to thank Phaeno for that <3

PSS: LUI v3 will defenitly move to Graphical Compilations here on WoWInterface.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a ton.
Also, when i close the left hand, it completely dissapears and wont reappear. and a error message came up but i didnt catch it, sorry. ill post again if i can get it come back. thanks again

First there are some numbers you should probably right down to help in the long run. Specifically the base location of Bar2 as it is in the layout (I believe it's like -91x and 35y and scale 0.9, but check Bartender first just to make sure), the other number will come up later.

The thing I told you to do will allow the SHIFT + 2 to work, that's what ActionBar Paging is technically called. The reason that the bar #2 is moving with the KGPanel is because it's actually set that way in KGPanels. Go into KGPanels and then goto "Active Panels" there will be a bunch of stuff that shows up, what you are looking for it "bars_right", click on it.

It should come up with a bunch of stuff on the right hand side of the menu, scroll all the way down and you will see 2 boxes filled with "BT4Bar2" which basically tells the KGPanel that whatever Bar 2 does (like hides or moves) the KGPanel also has to do. A bit above that information is "Position Settings" make a mental note of that info (or write it down) cause it will make life easier in the long run.

From there you can just change the "BT4Bar2" text to whichever bar you want to use. "BT4Bar3" is 3, "BT4Bar4" is 4, and so on. Then just match up the positioning so that it's back to where it's supposed to be and your done, tada!

---------------

Here is the alternative, and much easier, way that I did to basically make it work out for me:

Figure out which Bar has the abilities all setup that you want to use (for me I made it bar3) then goto your keybindings and in "Actionbar Functions" go down to "Action Page #" and I just changed it so doing Shift + 2 made it change to the 3rd bar instead of the 2nd bar. It effectively does the same thing, easier to accomplish, and less chance of "Oops" in messing around with KGPanel settings.

Tyvm sir, it worked!

I also want to replace Bar #2 from the right side of my screen with bar #3... or 6... or 7 I just want it to be replaced since I use bar 2 with bar 1 (if that makes sense... read above ^_^) But whenever I try to manually move it, it takes the KGpanel with it as well

I also want to replace Bar #2 from the right side of my screen with bar #3... or 6... or 7 I just want it to be replaced since I use bar 2 with bar 1 (if that makes sense... read above ^_^) But whenever I try to manually move it, it takes the KGpanel with it as well

I also dont have the popout bar on the side, but the buttons are there because I see the tooltip when I mouse over ones that have things in them. Hello, that is EXACTLY what Happened to me when I tried earlier.
