LUI v2211 Dragonflight 10.0.2 Edition, with new versioning
Important:
- For technical support please go to the LUI Discord Server
To access the Twitter integration stuff, either disable the Chat module or type /share
If you are doing a new install and you see that the frames are overlapping, or unaligned, you need to move the frames yourself:
Chat (BottomLeft): Go over it and right click on "General" tab of the chat frame, click Unlock Window and drag the tab around until you have the frame in a position you like.
Omen (MiddleLeft): Type "/omen config" (without quotes) and uncheck Lock Omen, drag it around, once you're done, check Lock Omen again.
Recount (MiddleRight) Type "/recount config" (without quotes) and go to Window and uncheck Lock Window. Move it around, and lock it back up when you're done. You're free to re-enable the Report, File, Config icons if you want.
Raid (BottomRight): Type "/lui", go in Unitframes and change the Raid settings. Then move the lone raid frame with your name around. You may need to reload UI for changes to apply (Fix pending)

Hi Loui
Im glad your working on a the Lui addon but seeing as new suites pop up thats close to identical to Lui im just wonering it you even tried working on Lui As example im just disapointed that your taking your time to make the "new" version that im sure would be exactly the same as the old one in terms of usability. I know your taking this time getting a lot of "Donations" from a lot of members to motivate you to complete this but in all honesty I think your just milking it now. I wont support Lui anymore cause to be honest your just lazy to fix it. Its been a week and you dont even have anything to show for it except "im making good progress" Progress in what? cause if CalaiUI could be built in 1 day with its current features thats identical to Lui v3.025 how does it take you a week to produce nothing? I'm contemplating why you even bother still cause your "personal live" always comes 1st and at this point your just to lazy to actually sit down for 10 min to work on it. Updating all the addons fix 95% of all the issues already so whatever your doing to make up the 5% is taking to long if you ask me. And in all honesty i would rather support a Author thats willing to work on his pack with the comunity like CalaiUI than support you thats got 10,000 excuses every time when it comes to a patch. So go ahead and delte this post cause you cant handle the critisism but at least 500 ppl would have read it and maybe 50 of them would agree that you are just lazy cause you had ample oportunity to fix this in 1 day but just fixing your broken code and updating the addons so that everyone could continue. But no ... you want ppl to wait 3 weeks for a "update" thats the same as the 3.025 GG |

For those of you that had LUI installed prior to 4.01, it still works! 90% of it at least! All i did was open up Curse Client, go through the list and update all the addon's included (except the previously mentioned OmniCC, i left that be). I even updated recount and it still works and fits in the little space Loui made for it. I think the only things i didnt update were LibSharedMedia, SharedMedia, OmniCC and EnhancedColourPicker. Go into your character select screen, click Addon's, make sure load out of date is on. Uncheck OmniCC and the other's i mentioned that weren't updated. Now this only seems to work if you had LUI installed pre-patch. For i can't get it working on my Druid. The install button does nothing. So again, For those of you who want to use LUI still and had it installed pre-patch, This is your FIX!! |

I do not wish to get involved in this childish battle, but the "LUI" addon of the LUI v3 currently DOES lag your system. Just disable it 'till the new release is here.

Re: Re: Re: Installation
Hi guys! I'm very anxious to try out this UI. However, I'm still having similar installation problems as the previous posters. I've disabled omnicc and the same error msgs are coming up and I'm unable to install. I've updated all the included addons in the package. here is my error:
[string "<unnamed>:OnShow"]:4: attempt to concatenate local 'name' (a nil value) Count: 1 Call Stack: [C]: ? [string "*:OnShow"]:4: in function <[string "*:OnShow"]:1> please help!! and forgive me if its simply my stupidity. need more coffee this AM. =P Thanks!

LUI 3v3, SBF
Hi Loui, good work on the UI. Hopefully the next update will come as quick as possible I was just wondering with the new update is there going to be an option to be able to see which person buffed what when hovering over the buff. With this I am talking about an ability that Satrina Buff Frames has. If you are not implementing this then can I ask if there will be support for use of Satrina Buff Frames? Thanks and good luck on the UI.
