Have you ever been in a situation where you just can't turn in a quest because your inventory is full? Trying to figure out an item to delete that's cheap and won't make you loose much gold?
This is one of the many situations where Broker_Garbage makes your life easier.
What is it?
Broker_Garbage shows your cheapest item(s) for easily freeing bag space. It uses your auction addon of choice for pricing, including disenchant prices if available. And if you don't want to throw away that [Broken I.W.I.N. Button], put it on your Exclude List and Broker_Garbage will keep it. Forever. Really! And those [Shiny Fish Scales]? Just put them on your Include List.
This addon works as-is but you will only see the text and tooltip if you use an LDB display addon. Some are Bagnon, DockingStation, Bazooka.
Basic Features - all features can be disabled if you don't want to use them

If you're not at a vendor, it shouldn't do anything at all, so that would be safe ![]()

2nd: About the sell value - is 25c what BG showed in the tooltip? BG takes the auction price as his "loss value" if the item isn't on your vendor price list (as auction prices tend to be higher that vendor prices ![]() ![]() Update: I see what happened there. 'Sell junk items' makes items that appear on your junk list seem like they are 'auto sell' items. I also found what's causing the high item values. This fix will be included in the next release (I promise, it won't be in 6 weeks, like the last one :P) If you want items to get sold, put them on your sell list ^^
Auto-sell only sells two (okay, three) things: gray quality items that aren't on your exclude list, unusable gear (if you have the option checked) and items that are on your auto-sell list. I hoped that explanation helps ![]()

Common item is disposable but won't sell
I just installed Broker_Garbage today to see how it goes.
I configured to not auto sell or auto repair, show the manual sell icon, no guild repair, "Nothing to sell" notice on, Quality Threshold = Common. I have global categories to keep: Consumable, Tradeskill, and Reagent and "Lesser Healing Potion" in the Junk list. At this point I had "Sell Junk List items" turned off. In the bags: some gray items, Lesser Healing Potion, and a Common item named "War Torn Greaves". Visited a vendor. I clicked on the Sell button and the gray items were sold but not the greaves nor the potion. I opened the Broker_Garbage options, checked the "Sell Junk List items option, and visited the vendor again. The Sell button is still not highlighted and the Sell button tooltip says "Nothing to sell". I clicked on it anyway, and the potion was sold but displayed an earned amount of 3 silver and change although the sell value is something like 25 copper. The greaves did not sell again this time although they are still displayed as a disposable item on the LDB. I reloaded UI and the greaves still don't sell with the button. Is this as intended, or maybe I missed an option to make Common items shown as disposable items to sell? I really did look through the options. Or is it maybe a bug with the way I selected the "Sell Junk List items" after the fact? Thank you. |

I've included a fix (hopefully?) for the icon issue, as well as revamped the options for the LootManager and some other things. For anyone who reads this: If you find any bugs or feel strongly about a feature or ... just want to send a note, go ahead! I'm always happy about feedback. Update: It's there! Lots of changes this time, though probably not that much that you can see ![]()

same issue here. A friend of mine has it, too. The button isn't showing at vendors often. ReloadUI fixes it temporarily. |

3.3v28 (and the alphas) was looking good for resolution of the issue I brought up with the Broker Garbage icon sometimes not showing when opening the vendor window. Very good. About two weeks of usage without the issue happening again.
But then... twice in the past 3 days it has happened. Once after a 5-man on a character using FuBar_GarbageFu as well (as before, the GarbageFu icon did appear). Once after a raid on a character not using FuBar_GarbageFu. Back to the drawing board. |

![]() I pulled the 'usable' data quite a while ago and maybe my sources were not up to date. Anyhow, I'll fix this. Broker_Garbage stores this data in constants.lua, you can find the data for rogues in lines 221-236, simply insert this line in that area and it should do it's job properly again: Code:

Regarding the
Let me regale you with a short story about a Rogue, a Rogue with an Axe as his offhand.
It wasn't long ago that the Weapon Masters wouldn't have trusted this Rogue with swinging an axe, fortunately those good people at Blizzard let my Rogue "expand his mind" some, and now he can chop wood with the best of them. Only problem with this is, Broker_Garbage seems to still think an Axe is something I can't use as a Rogue, and thus, as a "Useless" Soulbound piece of gear, the Sell Gear option vendors my axe automatically if it happens to be unlucky enough to be in my inventory rather than on my person next time I open a vendor window. I spent a couple days pursuing the Loremaster Achievement in Kalimdor, so I'd hardly noticed the loss of my off-hand till I started Questing again in Northrend. Fortunately a Gamemaster was nice enough to restore to me my Scourgeborne Waraxe. Might want to tweak that setting some. For now I'm leaving it off.

Update: Okay, it semms like I found the bug. The saved variables weren't initialized properly so of course they couldn't be accessed. I'll have the fix in the next version, but first I'll check on the 3.3.5 client - which EU servers will get this wednesday (aka tomorrow). Meanwhile, you can use the files on GitHub: Broker_Garbage @github Broker_Garbage-LootManager @github If you are unfamiliar to GitHub, click the "download source" button on the top right, choose your compression (zip should work just fine), extract the files to your Interface/AddOns folder and rename the folders.

![]() I can now use the Broker Garbage but not the loot manager. Tried replacing the file by itself with the sole file from the package and even with an old file from one of the archived packages but with no success. Guess I'll wait for 3.3.5 patch to go live and see if the new version solves this unless someone has any good advice of what to try? Using TitanPanels if that might give any hints? |

Using last alpha build cdf3988 in both WoW 3.3.3 and 3.3.5 (which has been released on the USEnglish servers) on both level 80 raiding characters and levelling characters. As play the raiding characters a lot more, initially saw the missing vendor icon problem on them in WoW 3.3.3. Now after a week of WoW 3.3.5, have seen it a single time on a leveling character (who also has FuBar_GarbageFu enabled on him). Did a 5-man instance, went to the vendor, the Broker Garbage sell icon was missing from the lower left of the frame. But the FuBar_GarbageFu sell icon showed up fine on the top right of the frame. Most of the time on that levelling character with both mods active, no problem. Relog and like previous tests, the Broker Garbage icon reappeared in the vendor frame; it would not reappear until I relogged. And have not seen the problem again yet on the raid characters that only have Broker Garbage enabled. Hope you are able to finally fix this problem with it not initializing its UI elements properly (sometimes) at a vendor frame. It makes the mod really inconvenient to use/rely on.
