Arp UI

THERE WILL BE NO MORE UPDATES BECOUSE I HAVE QUIT THE GAME
But this will probably work for this expansion and maybe the next to.

If someone is interested in continuing the work PM.


DONT UPDATE BUTTONFACE, SCREWS UP SBF(BUFF FRAMES) ATM.

Small walkthrough of the UI

Supports

* 1920x1080 (Main), 1600x900, 1360x768, 1280x768 and 1280x720

* 1680x1050, 1440x900 and 1280x800

* This will work with the resolution above and probly some more but small resolutions my cause the UI to become to small.

Notes

* Tracking and Calendar

While hovering the minimap

* Left Click: Ping
* Right Click: Calendar
* Middle Mouse Click: Tracking

* Settings

Graphics and Sound setting are set to standard values. You might want to increase them.

* Extra Bars

There is 2 extra bars in bartender (/bar). If you need more bars enable bar 3 and/or bar 5.

* Config

Alot of options in oUF_Arp like castbars all UFs and some more, open Arp_config.lua.
You can edit and save your changes via Wordpad, Notepad or something similar. More info oUF Arp

* SBF

I've configured 2 bars that works like classtimer. I have added some of my own. You can choose one of my profile by
/sbf options and clicking on the tab "Profiles" or if your playing a class/specc I dont have you can make you own.
/SBF and make a new profile. Copy from "Arp". Go to the "Spells" tab. Choose "Player Buffs" for tracking buffs/procc,
just check the spells you want to track from the list (you need to have use the spell once before it appears in the tab).
Choose "Target" for tracking debuffs on target, check "List debuffs" for debuffs to appear in the list.

* Druid (Feral)
* Mage (Fire and Frost)
* Warlock (Destro, Affliction)
* Paladin (Ret, Prot)
* Dk (Blood, Frost)

How to:


1. Backup

* Go to your "World of Warcraft" folder.
* Copy a backup of the "Interface" and "WTF" folders.


2. Install

* Open the rar and extract the folders inside.
* Choose you resolution.
* Copy the "WTF" folder into your "World of Warcraft" folder.
* Copy "Interface" and "Fonts" folders in your "World of Warcraft" folder.


3. Rename the folders inside the "WTF" folder (WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME)

* Rename the folder named "ACCOUNTNAME" to your accountname ex. WOWPLAYER87 (NOT your email)
* When you start the game the first time let the launcher complete the update.
* When you start the game for the first time you will need to choose your resolution, Esc/Options/Graphics.

Hey... i just updated the ui for the new version in 1680 1050..

But i still have problems with the overlapping of charsheet and proffesion windows..

Make some lines in Kgpanels. Get the name you want to Parent the line to, ingame type while holding the mouse over that frame /run ChatFrame1:AddMessage(GetMouseFocus():GetName()) . Copy the name into the parent and this line will now only show when the frame you parented it with is visable. You can also achor the line to the same frame but that isnt necessary.

I've been wondering how to set up those lines for specific bars in bartender, minimap, omen and so on.
Could you give me any kind of clue? (tho I'm not asking for spoon-feeding )

I dont know exacly what you have done and remodeld and such but just delete stText saved variables and they should be in a big pile in the middel as it was on your pic

there was only latency and fps.

i have an issue

suddenly something got bugged, and i can't fix it on my own.

and im using pitbull cause when tanking its hard to see second tanks debuff for re-taunting boss n stuff.

when i installed pitbull it didnt change the bug i need help with, it just appeared like 2 days later.

Yes there is I only remodeld his first 5.0 and if you delete the portrait you get a black space but if you scale the texture in the frames to 1.0 instead of 0.7 it fills up the UF if I rember right, didnt like 5.0 so i just kept 4.8d

In 5.0 delete these line to remove portraits (I THINK, not using it so cant really know )

Hi, thanks for the quick response! After receving no help from the author, I spent several hours just removing and adding sections of code from oUF_viv.. i honestly had no clue what I was doing as I know next to nothing about LUA, but a bit of common sense helped me to accomplish most of what I was after... a bit of common sense and a LOT of trial and error, lol. I dont remember all of the changes I made or where I made them, so I am a bit afraid to try to tweak v4.8. I wish I had known before that it did not have portraits and that I had been smart enough to write down the things I had fixed in v5.

However, I did TRY to remove the portraits and all that happened was that I was able to remove them, but I was not able to figure out how to then make the texture any smaller or how to make the border fit a smaller texture. Is there a section of code that generally refers to textures? For example, when I was trying to change the positioning of the health percentage, I searched for the keyword "HP"... anything similar for textures that I am missing?
