QuestMyMap is a small addon without configuration that aims to provide a nicer quest map and some fixes.

Features:

Resizes the quest map to full scale
Drag border of the quest list to resize it (or shift-click / rightclick to toggle)
Quest levels on quest titles
Hides quest log and quest rewards on world map
Moves quest selection frame to a transparent overlay
Paste quest links from the world map with Shift-Click
Rightclicking a selected quest opens the quest log
Difficulty coloring for tooltips (make sure you activate the Interface option "Quest Difficulty Color")

Tested with the following map addons (please help to test it!)

Mapster

Version 1.2.1
- fixed quest list disappearing

Version 1.2
- quest list now has a darker border
- drag the border to change the size of the quest list
- Shift-Leftclick or Rightclick at the border to toggle it

Version 1.1
- fixed for 3.3.3

Version 1.0
- initial release

I love it when people think critically about how to improve UI. Have you thought about adding a little UI element to press that would flip the side of the map that the semi-transparent tracker is on (left<->right)? I ask as it seems possible that a POI could be underneath it and if you have a lot of quests in your tracker it might be obfuscated by the text. I'm not sure if this is easy or possible, but it would be neat .

I've tried this my with personal UI, nothing, so I disable everything blizz default UI. nothing.

The quests are shown on the natural watch frame.

Show objectives have been ticked on and off as well as track quests to see whats going on

When the world map is full size its just the map. There was one instance when I just acceped a quest when it popped up but then i closed the map again, reopened and it was gone.

Okay, well, to be honest, the only reason I still play WoW is because of addon development. The rest became boring after four years of active playing =P
And since I write them in my free time and also release them for free, there are of course the subscription fee's ... so if you want to support me, here's your chance!

And ... umm ... there's still the habit of eating lots of chocolate while thinking of addons :/
