Headline (Nameplates)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: r13
by: senomar [More]

Very lightweight nameplates addon.

Nameplates for hostile players are classcolored.

Nameplates for hostile mob's are threatcolored in combat!
green: low or no threat
yellow: medium threat
red: aggro

/headline for basic settings:
- height
- width
- font size
- level display
- amplified target

Since this is a forked overhead: credits to p3lim.

r13
- removed 4.0.1a obsolete hook
r12
- option to amplify target
r10+11
- bugfixes
r9
- toggle level via /headline level
r8
- bars are threatcolored for hostile mobs in combat only. so, hostile mobs are red out of combat
r7
- moved the raid icons to a saner position
r6
- basic settings via /headline
r5
- fixes
r4
- fixed theatplates on mobs
r3
- wow 4.0.1 fixes

At first I thought it was the Valiant combat, but it continued through the rest of the Silver Covenant dailies.

I have PlateBuffs and PlateSpinner - PlateBuffs put buffs/debuffs above the plates and PlateSpinner turns plates on and off in combat. Neither causes issues with the defaults or TidyPlates.

disable "interface > game > combat > castbars on nameplates" until platebuff is updated for 4.x

In addition often the threatindicator doesn't work. If I'm tanking often I have the aggro, but the nameplate appears in green, even if I'm 400k over the other guys. Maybe it's related to above error.

But apart from that it's a very nice mod!

No, I'm not using PlateBuffs.
Castbar on Nameplates is also disabled.

hi, im moving to this from cael nameplates wich i liked for its minimalistic look, and i decided to use this one which in my opinion looks better.
Now, before the patch i remember Cael Nameplates would just popup nameplates when i enter combat and remove em when exiting combat, is this mod able to do this? or i have to keep em toggled on all the time? So far i couldnt manage to figure out how to make it do this.

thanks for any info.

Great addon. Glad someone finally made a simple clean but functional plate. Thanks! Cael's was ok but this is better. Look forward to helping test.

From my pov this thing is feature complete.
Do you want other colors? Dig the lua. Do you want a combat toggle? Get yourself PlateSpinner or something. Do you want 101 more features? Get yourself another addon.

Headline will stay lightweight and minimalistic. No level info, no castbar xy-features, no boss skulls, whatever.

To mess with height, width and the font size, type /headline

I just asked for another color then grey as background color

I donīt want to "change" your addon in a big way, itīs just another color i want to see there.

Dont know whats your problem. Iīm not asking for other scripts, forms, fonts, textures or anything else...
