    It isn't that much of a deal, but it is astounding as to how many people think they understand everything and let it get to their heads.     This add-on adds empty Worgen sniffing soundfiles in a directory that WoW will read and use prior to the original files, not even modifying any files. So this add-on is legal, and for that sake all other that change or remove game sounds.
    The original post quoted in the message above isn't showing up anymore, but to add to the reply:

    This addon utilizes a mechanism entirely supplied by Blizzard and is under their complete control. Through this method, they only allow certain files to be overridden, mainly sound and texture files. Models however, cannot be. The section in question in the ToS was to cover bypassing this control by modifying the MPQ archives directly. Time and time again, if Blizzard didn't want us to do certain things legitimately, they just block it.

    Blizzard Entertainment reserves the right to disable any add-on functionality within World of Warcraft at its sole discretion.
