Xanadar's Hunter UI
Xanadar's Hunter UI is my first attempt at creating a UI usable by others. It is a collection of my prefered add-ons set out with the aim of provding the maximum amount of useful information without it intruding too much on your viewing space. Vital character information is located in the center portion of the screen while supplementary information can be found at the sides.
All the add-ons I use are included in this pack (listed at the bottom) aswell as some additional non-combat add-ons I like to use for convenience - Bagnon and WIM for example - which can easily be disabled without effecting he overall impact of the UI.
For a full video guide of my UI please visit :
XanadarEU
Since release of this video I have made some minor changes including installation of Skada to replace Recount and Omen and Chatter to replace Prat.
Compatible Resolutions:
Currently this is only scaled and positioned for 1920x1080. I will be adding further resolutions in the near future so watch this space. If you would like to request a specific resolution please leave a comment and I'll look into it.
Artwork and Borders:
As artwork on UI's is a matter of personal preferance I have included 2 versions of the UI in this pack.
- XanadarUI is the default. as you can see in the screenshots this includes artwork to border the actionbars, Grid, SexyMap and Skada.
- XanadarClean is the second option which removes the artwork and replaces it with very simple and basic borders for the same Add-ons.
Raid Size:
Xanadar's Hunter UI has been built around a 10man raid enviroment and as such entering into LFR or a 25man raid will cause overlaps on various add-ons which I hope to rectify at a later date. If 25man is your primary raid size I recommend using XanadarClean and disabling the Targets buffs/debuffs via SBF. This will prevent any overlap as the borders for Grid are part of the add-on itself.
Other Classes?:
At present the UI is only designed for Hunters. It is however easily adaptable to other classes and roles if you want to.
Installation:
***Always be sure to backup your original WTF and Interface folders***
- Extract Xanadar Hunter UI into an easily found folder.
- Copy both the folders (Interface and WTF) into you WoW directory.
- Go through the folders renaming them as appropriate (Account name, Server name and Character name etc).
- Run Curse to ensure all add-ons are the latest versions and update as required.
- Log into your wow account and select Load out of date AddOns in the Addons menu at you character selection screen.
- Once in game type /reflux switch XanadarUI <---- This is case sensitive.
- Check the positions of all the add-ons are correct. If they aren't reload your UI, this usually fixes and rogue add-ons.
- Everything should be ready for to head into your fav instance/raid!!
XanadarClean:
If you would like to make use of the 'clean' version of Xanadar's Hunter UI first load XanadarUI as described above. Once the UI is loaded type /reflux switch XanadarClean <---Again case sensitive. This will load the clean version as seen in the screenshots.
Known Bug/Issues:
SexyMap can be abit tempermental when loading it's screen position with reflux. As such this may require you to manually move the map into the correct position. Scaling and borders will be as they should be and the map will be unlocked, it just requires re-positioning.
Where are my Minimap buttons?
Don't worry they haven't dissapeared! Included in the pack is Minimap Button Frame which puts them all into a small box located near the mini map. To access them goto the slide bar (Small Yellow Bar in the top right of your screen) and click on the Diamond looking icon. This will open the frame with all your minimap buttons held within it.
