Kait Resto v2

Version: 1.1
by: Kaitain1977 [More]

YouTube of the UI in action

This is a resto druid UI, I haven't tested it on any other class. I briefly set it up to work in Moonkin spec.
It is at 1920x1200 resolution and is a completely unsupported UI, take it as is.

The target name font is called Christopher Hand.

Go read the licensing details there, and give that guy some money if you can.

Load out-of-date addons

Grid will need your own personalising.

Some addons will need profiles loading.

/kgpanels config - The profile is called "Kait" and the layout is called "RestoDruid"
/sbf options - The profile is called "Kaitai-Ravencrest"
/bt - The profile is called "Kaitai-Ravencrest"
/grid - The profile is called "Kait healer"
Chatter - The profile is called "Kaitai"

If I missed any the profiles are either "Default" or "Kaitai".

To use the custom talent frame:

1) Go into the Esc menu and then Key Bindings > Toggle Talent Pane - Unbind this
2) Make a macro like this:

Code:
/click TalentMicroButton
/run PlayerTalentFrame:SetPoint("TOPLEFT",635, -395)
/run WeakAuras.ScanEvents("EVN_O")
Thanks again Smallo for the taint fix!

3) drag this macro onto a (hidden) bartender button.
4) use /kb to activate Bartender's keybinding mode and bind the macro button to be whatever key you used to use to open the talent frame (the default key is N).

You may find that elements of the talent panel effect need moving around a bit for example the glowing background is placed to be behind a tall female night elf. If your character is a goblin/gnome/dwarf, some stuff might need repositioning. It's possible some auras are only set to load if your character is a resto druid. Look in unloaded auras list if you can't see it.

EDIT: Having played as resto last night, not sure why but Grid wouldn't show all raid members, and I had 6 row columns mixed with 5 row columns for some reason. I checked the default raid grid in the game, and the people were put from group 1 to 5, so 25players, of which only 22 were shown.

This UI is really something, and it would be a shame to be left unattended. Not only does it look great, but it's not another cheap rip off of Elv-ui and whatnot.
Thanks for the compliments, but the thing is, I never had any intention of maintaining this UI. Hence "is a completely unsupported UI, take it as is." at the top of the notes. Reason being that I prefer to make UIs than run old ones. Currently I have 3 underway that look promising. So sorry to disappoint, but there it is.

As for fixing it for 5.3, yes try disable all separate Lib addons. As I understood it, addons that need a lib normally include it in their own folders anyways? As for Grid, just keep it up to date. I think the bug you describe is caused by people leaving and entering the group mid-combat (happens a lot in LFR). A reload when safely out of combat normally works.

A month or two I think. I'm trying to make something totally different and non-minimalist so it might take a while. I've not even 100% decided what class to make it for :-)
