SixUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 11.0.16
by: Sixthly [More]

SixUI
SixUI provides a minimal design with pixel-perfect borders accross all UI scales and screen sizes, with support for skinning Blizzard's HUD and many third-party AddOns. It does not skin Blizzard's dialogs and windows, which is an intentional design choice. The following layouts are included:

- Standard: Designed for playing with an MMO mouse, featuring Naga-style action bars.
- Damage: Designed for playing with a keyboard.
- Minimal: Designed for playing with a WeakAuras pack that replaces action bars.
Features
- Easy to install and update.
- Edit Mode compatibility.
- Layouts for damage and healing roles.
- LibDataBroker compatibility with many included plugins.
- Pixel perfect, customizable borders.
- Skinned Blizzard action bars, auras, chat frame, and minimap.
- Skinning support for many third-party AddOns.
- Some basic quality of life automations.
Instructions
- Install SixUI and any supported or suggested AddOns you are interested in.
- Log in to your character.
- When SixUI's setup frame opens, review the changes and click "Apply All."

    context menu.
  • Add more localization strings.
  • Display Durability: Show item level when durability is high (80%).
The display mode and item level source can be configured in the
    display's context menu.
  • Display Guild: Add a list of communities to the context menu.
  • Display History: Replace the secondary tooltip with a context
    menu.
  • Display Valor: Track Gilded Harbinger Crests instead of Valor.
  • Integration Skada: Add a migration for importing SixUI's
    profile.
  • Integration Skada: Resolve an issue where windows could have empty
    space.
  • Resolve an issue where a display could sometimes be missing its
    border.
  • Resolve an issue where action buttons were sometimes not fully
    skinned.
  • Resolve an issue where Grid2 had a visible black border.
  • Resolve an issue where the Edit Mode layout could desync when
    changing specialization.

Known Issues:
  • The "Objective Tracker Auto-Collapse" aura is blocking interactions
with quest items directly from the objective tracker.

Thank you for fixing it so quickly! I can't download it ATM because it's still getting approved, but I will when I can. Thank you.

The minimap is just static, and the only way I can fix this is to disable integration. I also can't seem to ping the minimap either, but I'm unsure if this intentional or not.

Thanks again for all the work you do.
It looks like this bug is still present in 10.0.5, but a fix will be coming in 10.0.6.

Edit: 10.0.6 has been released with the fix.

Please let me know whether these issues are resolved in SixUI 10.0.4.
it is indeed

thank you so much

Edit:
Just discovered that the minimap cluster is on a higher frame level than the minimap buttons added by addons,
removing the possibility to interact with them when covered by it.

I'd also recommend adding this to your SixUI\Modules\Minimap\Frame.lua
Code:
function GetMinimapShape()
	return "SQUARE"
end
Documented here, it allows addon buttons on the minimap to be positioned correctly (granted the addon is respecting that function)

SUF is now positioned natively through its respective AddOn. However, the included SixUI profiles should result in no overlap. I would suggest trying the following (in order):
  • Make sure the old "SixUI Layout" AddOn is disabled (this is no longer included with SixUI but some people may still have it present).
  • If are you using any action bar AddOns, try disabling them (SixUI now styles the stock Blizzard action bars).
  • Make sure SUF is using the "SixUI" profile.
  • Try re-importing the Edit Mode layout from SixUI's WoWInterface description.
  • Reset SUF's SixUI profile by typing "/sixui reset ShadowedUnitFrames".
  • If none of the above works, you may need to manually position these frames through SUF.

Yes, this will absolutely work. There's no harm in leaving this in the releases, so I'll be sure to include it in the next one. I should probably also prevent the Blizzard action bars from being controlled/styled if Dominos or Bartender is loaded.

Dominos support.

Hello Sixthly,

I noticed that Dominos has been dropped from the addon list, however I still want to use Dominos for my bar layout. How do I add the look and feel of the old bars from the previous version of SixUI to Dominos again? Can I just add in the module .lua for Dominos from a previous version?

I love your UI's look and feel with the borders of everything (chat, minimap, etc), and other features, but I design my own UI using yours as a base, which is why I'm asking this question. If you don't want to add this feature back, I understand and I'll just make due with what I have. Thank you.

Edit: adding the Dominos.lua from a previous version and then updating the Integration.xml to include Dominos.lua worked and the bars are looking like they previously did. Going through your code I don't see how the previous version could cause any errors, but if they can please let me know so I can fix it. The Dominos.lua looks to just be a skinning file so it shouldn't be a problem. I suppose I didn't need to make this post, but thank you anyway for you awesome interface suite.
