WhisperWhisper Lite is a rewrite of Blacksen's WhisperWhisper, which was unfortunately abandoned in 2012. WhisperWhisper Lite provides a LibDataBroker display for tracking private conversations. The LibDataBroker display will show the name of the last person you interacted with. Their name will be coloured based on who sent the last whisper. Hovering over the display will reveal your conversation with that person. Right clicking on the display will show you a list of other people you have recently interacted with, and the conversations held with them. Click on any of these people send them a whisper.
Key Differences
- This "lite" version only provides a LibDataBroker display. It does not provide its own frame.
- Full Battle.net support with persistent conversations.
- Better cross realm support.
- New key combinations to invite and delete.
- More efficient, maintainable code.
Features
- Persistent conversations between sessions for characters and Battle.net friends. Battle.net friends must have a BattleTag set, even if they were added by RealID.
- Store up to 30 conversations, and up to 30 messages per conversation.
- Each conversation is labelled with the recipient's name, and coloured based on the last person to send a message. By default, green indicates you received the last whisper, and blue indicates you sent the last whisper.
- Click on a conversation to reply. <Alt> click on a conversation to invite. <Shift> click on a conversation to search (/who). <Ctrl> click on a conversation to delete.
- Customise the tooltip's font, size and colours to integrate with any user interface. Fonts are imported using LibSharedMedia.
- Full profile support using the Ace library.
