Hello!
Many of you are probably fans of zork's Roth UI! Though he plans no more maintenance to it in Legion, I am here to wipe those tears from your face!
If not, this UI is a complete (or near complete) replacement for the standard Blizzard UI. While some things such as character info screen and menus are not replaced, most of the constantly visible UI elements are.
This will replace your actionbars with a 3-tier stacking set of action bars with a Diablo3 style background, replace the normal WoW actionbar artwork with a Diablo style Angel and Demon, replace the player frame with a set of Health and Power (mana/rage/energy/etc) orbs, and completely re-skin the target, target's target, party, raid, focus, boss and other Unit Frames with Diablo-esque style framework.
It will also replace the standard WoW Rune, Combo Point, Harmony, Soul Shard and Holy Power bars with ones more fitting to the UI's look and feel.
My revival of the UI features constant updating and support, quick reponses to questions and many new/improved features!
Among some of those notable changes are...
1. Raid frames will now track healing abilities!
Priests can easily track Renew, PW:Shield and more, Druids will easily see who has Rejuv and such! Almost exclusively playing a healer has made me tapper this addon back to our needs! Each healer has a variety of abilities they will easily track on the raid frames, and the best part is.. It will only display YOUR buffs, and only for YOUR class!
2. Vertical Party frames!
Many people in the past have disabled the Roth UI party and raid frames due to 3 simple reasons: Lack of customization, lack of buff/debuff tracking for healers and being stuck on those horizontal party frames! But fear not, if you wish to keep those horizontal party frames, there's an option in the config to disable the vertical ones!
3. Independantly movable Raid frames!
One of my biggest issues with the Roth UI raid frames was their clunkyness. It does make setup abit easier, but let's be honest, no one liked moving all the groups in the raid frame at once. Now you get to move them all individually!
4. Health and mana % on target health/power bars, and cur/max for both on the left and right top corners!
I've added a few text strings to the target healthbar, and made it slightly longer by default. This should help you easily tell what % and how much HP a boss has, aswell as making finding healers in BG's a tad bit easier (note: They are the ones with 160k instead of 32k max mana :P)
5. Updated AuraWatch!
This is a rather simple one, the version of Aurawatch used in the last version of Roth UI was rather outdated, i've updated it, and worked with the addon developer directly to incorporate a few new features aswell, special to Roth UI!
There are many many more small changes, as I customized this addon entierly to my playstyle and PC setup (screen size etc). You may find some UI elements too big or small for your liking, or some things in the wrong place. I'm more than happy to help you out by telling you what to edit to get your desired result, but you have to do the work.
Other than bug fixes and major features, I will not update Roth UI simply for things like changing default scale sizes or text string locations.
(This does mean new updates will likely overwrite your changes, though if you are concerned about this, I will provide links to Github commits for each update, so you can see where the changes take place, and protect your precious config.lua settings)
Also note: Between my light raiding schedule, full time work and full time school, I don't have extraordinary amounts of time to work on Roth UI, bug fixes will usually be fixed within a few days of finding them, but new features will not be added for much longer. Some features will not even be considered, such as expanding the /diablo config panel or adding a profile system.
If you have a simple question, I will attempt to get back to you within a day, if not sooner!

Oh wow thanks for the super fast reply, I wasn't expecting that XD Stance bar and the code you gave me for the exp bar are working now, which is awesome, thanks!
As for the scrollframes, that seems kind of odd because I don't have the orbs/artwork in a different spot than I had them with zorks original version, though a lot has changed since then I suppose. I don't think it will affect me too much, it was just something my friend and I noticed. I think I might just tinker with the artwork/orb sizes, since I don't feel comfortable enough adjusting things within the scroll frames/player.lua file. |

I will look into that, try doing Code:
/run Roth_UIExpBar:SetPoint("CENTER", UIParent, "CENTER", 0, 0)
If you want you can fine-tune the scroll frame here:https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...layer.lua#L449

Hey again Galaxy. So after adjusting those files I noticed that when I logged into another character that the exp/rep/AF power bar was missing. When I logged back onto the character I made the changes on however the bar was still visible so I'm not sure what might be causing this.
Also it seems even with the changes, I'm able to move the micromenu/bars however the stance bar is still unmovable though it is visible now. And my friend brought this to my attention, apparently if you have your Health and Resource orbs too close to the bottom of the screen, it causes your bars to disappear and a red aura to show up on your screen when your HP/Resource are too low. I'm not sure if this has been brought up or not so I thought I would share. Health Ex: https://i.gyazo.com/d2aea2115cfb5aeb...7e17d80347.png https://i.gyazo.com/9b256039ecc8bea4...e7486b105a.png (the red aura can be removed by turning off the rotating galaxy/orb textures, as it seems the textures remove themself from the orb and go onto your screen for some reason, also you can see the missing xp bar and my locked stance bar T-T) Resource Ex: https://i.gyazo.com/b8df15420bf0f60f...5d5658b5e8.png https://i.gyazo.com/6577b2267dc3a82b...9e05d01585.png

Update 1.9.5
Version 1.9.5 is now released!
See change log for simplified release notes and list of changed/added/removed files! (If a file you have edited has been changed, you can visit the github page, look under commits for "1.9.5 Pre-update" "1.9.4-b1" and "Version 1.9.5 'Fonts and more!'" to see the changed made to the file you have edited) To save time: The Roth_UI/config.lua file only contains a change for the font string at the bottom, and mediapath optimizations (both are optional) 1.9.5 "Fonts and Buffs, Oh My!"
To change the fonts, simple edit the "cfg.font" values found in Roth_UI/config.lua, Roth_UI/embeds/rChat/config.lua, Roth_UI/embeds/rInfostrings/config.lua and Roth_UI/embeds/rNamePlates/rNamePlates.lua The standard value is Code:
cfg.font = STANDARD_TEXT_FONT Please note, other than a few small tweaks and bug fixes, RothBuffs is 100000% entierly based off ShinyBuffs, just renamed for the purpose of this UI. All credit for this addon goes to it's author, Seerah, though all bug reports related to it come to me! If any errors or anomalies occur, please try a FRESH INSTALL of Roth UI before reporting the bugs. If your bug/error is the result of you NOT using a FRESH INSTALL I may not assist you. And I will most definitely laugh at you. If you have made edits to files that were changed, and run into a bug please try a FRESH INSTALL of Roth UI before re-making your changes, to ensure the bug is not caused by your change. Thank you. The GameMenuFrame (esc menu) has a minor re-skin, aswell as new fonts. This is a teaser/trial for eventually re-skinning ALL UI frames, including Game menus, bars and the UI panels like character, collections, LFG, etc. |

Re: Fix tooltip position
Sidenote: In 1.9.5 there will be a config option for this.

Fix tooltip position
Hey man,
Is there any way to fix tooltip position on the screen like in vanilla wow? Currently, it pops under the mouse cursor which often obscures thing from view. :| |

But when I release 1.9.5 later this afternoon it will completely change the buff frame adddon, and remove /rbf, replacing it with /rb, which will open a config panel, an you can lock/unlock them from a checkbox insie that |

Thanks Galaxy! Looks like all of those things that I adjusted worked!
Also I introduced the ui to a friend of mine and he was wondering if you were going to enable functionality to move buffs and player buffs similar to how the /rbfs command used to work?

As of 1.9.4, the stancebar is no longer dynamic, and should move around at your discretion with /rabs unlock As for the micromenu, bag, exp, rep and artifact power bars, it's actually rather simple. First, for the Exp, Rep and Artifact power bars: Open Roth_UI/core/bars.lua uncomment the following line (remove the -- from the front of them): https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...e/bars.lua#L29 also, copy and paste this line after this line: https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...e/bars.lua#L78 then go into Roth_UI/core/slashcmd.lua and uncomment the following lines: https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...ashcmd.lua#L16 https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...ashcmd.lua#L17 https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...ashcmd.lua#L28 This should re-instate their default positions and allow you to move them again with /roth unlockbars (if not, let me know and I will investigate) For the micromenu and bag bars: Uncomment the following lines: Roth_UI/embeds/rActionBarStyler/micromenu.lua: https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...romenu.lua#L41 Roth_UI/embeds/rActionBarStyler/bags.lua https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...e/bags.lua#L37 then go into Roth_UI/embeds/rActionBarStyler/config.lua and change "enable = false" to "enabled = true" on the following lines: https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...onfig.lua#L266 https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...onfig.lua#L282 Doing all of this should(tm) reinstate the bars default positions as defined in the appropriate config files, aswell as re-enable userplacement. Exp/rep/artifact bars are /roth unlockbars Micromenu, stance and bag bars are /rabs unlock Enjoy. |

Hey Galaxy, great job again with the addon and thank you for the constant updates and replies <3
I was wondering if you would be able to teach me how to change the Exp bar, Rep bar, Micro Menu bar, Bag bar and Stance bar from being dynamically placed to fit into the new background artwork to allow user movement if you have the time of course. Given that I don't use the background art because of where I place my health and mana orbs (it ends up looking kind of silly), having these things be dynamic with it ends up being a bit unfortunate since when I remove the art I lose the stance bar completely and I'm unable to move my bags and micro menu, and I also have the green exp bar floating off in space in looks like XD Anyways, thanks again Galaxy, you're the best! |

Re: 1.9.4 error
/reload and the error will be gone. You will also have to re-create any existing orb profiles aswell, or the error will return upon loading them.
however, to resize the actionbars, edit Roth_UI/embeds/rActionBarStyler/config.lua, locate the section for the bar you wish to edit, find the "scale = " line, and change the number value.

1.9.4 error
This is what I get running either 1.9.1, 1.9.2, 1.9.3, 1.9.4.
Lua Code:
How can I change just the scale of action bars? By default I have an empty space between action bars and health/mana globes? And btw, great work |

I've tried changing the resource bars(runes/combo etc.) to fade out, out of combat.
However when I change the value in the config from false to true this happens: Am I missing something? |
