Plans dont survive contact with the enemy While adding required stuff for data cleaning I realized that I should make the addon more modular. So the pending version now has a modular setup including the void and character modul Addon settings are in but not yet the planned cleaning functions or anything usefull
But from here on it's easier to work on it. You should delete the wtf-file or reset the profile in addon-prefs.
There was not much testing ... so bugs are likely
Edit: Some prefs added in .40 to enable/disable moduls.
I hate the enemy!
It's lookimg good.
But I noticed the first time you open a storage (bank, void, ...) zz_itemsdb doesn't immediately update the tooltip. You have to close the storage and open it again and then it's updated. No biggie at all but I figured I'd mention it.
I haven't been online much lately but that's the one "bug" I noticed; seems to be working fine otherwise.
I think the Void storage is useful, for example, if you're farming some transmog and you're not sure whether you already got that piece yet or not. Sometimes I do put incomplete sets into the Void.
There are workarounds to getting the same info without actually looking at what you've stored, but this would be, the way I see it, the easiest way.
And... what you have planned next does seem like a higher priority to me, so...

Just to note I like that you now see the item's ID in the tooltip.
And BTW... have you implemented the Void Storage yet? (I haven't checked with my storage laterly)
The ID is a bug The plan was to delay it until I've added gui preferences to en-/disable.
For the void I'm undecided ... is it really worth using it? I've not yet looked into it.
This weekend I planned to add preferences and first tools to delete data not wanted (deleted chars, reset data). When there is time I take a look how the void works.

I'll check with chars with more stuff in the bank to trigger this and go through the update logic again. Guess I still try somewhere to update the bank while its not available.
Edit: I was updating for every locked item. When sorting ALL items are locked. .17 only updates the first item and then tries to update after a delay. I did not notice because my computer is pretty quick For the other problem I'm still looking.
Edit2: The second problem might be solved in .18 ... Found that my "bank is open"-check was using the Event "BANK_CLOSED" which does not exists ... it should have been "BANKFRAME_CLOSED". ( Damn Copy&Paste )

1. Everytime I click the "Sort Bank" or "Sort Bags" buttons, the game freezes for over 10 seconds. It does not happen when zz_itemsdb is not loaded. Admitedly, I do run WoW on a low-end computer, but nothing else freezes the game like that (except sometimes when entering a raid (Big Wiggs?), but even so, not for so long.
2. It seems to sometimes forget items it had previously gotten. I'm farming Fragments of Valanyr (or whatever the name) in Ulduar and store them in the bank for the week after I a run. zz_itemsdb had correctly displayed the amounts in bank and bags last week but yesterday, while I was in the instance, it reported only the ones in the bags. As soon as I opened the bank, it corrected the values.
BTW, when you said you'd found a "bug that deletes the bank content when scanning while the bank was not open", I presume you meant it deletes the "bank content" in the database...
I'll take a look at the error. Even if I cant reproduce it the code should catch errors like this
For the reagentbank thats easily doable. I only skipped it because my first approach was to keep the datastructure smaller than BankItems. But I guess its not really that important
Edit: Update pending
Edit 2: Found another bug that deletes the bank content when scanning while the bank was not open, fixed in .15 ... but I'll check a little longer before uploading that.
