KompUI (Classic) is a minimalistic UI for the Classic version of WoW. Currently, this UI only uses 3 addons: ElvUI WeakAuras SharedMedia Only 1920x1080 resolution is supported! You may update ElvUI and WeakAuras freely. Only ElvUI 1.07 or above is supported. Earlier versions are no longer supported (update!!) UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS: Update WeakAuras Update ElvUI Download the KompUI.zip from this site and replace the KompUI folder in your addons folder. Copy the ElvUI string in Step 7. In-game, type /ec>Profiles>Import Profile. Paste the text and Import. Copy the Weakaura strings in Step 8 and Step 9. In the pop ups after pasting the code into "External>Import", select "Update Auras" and ensure "Add Missing Auras" is checked. Click "Import as Update" Type /reload in-game. This will ensure all UI features work correctly after importing the string updates. |
Version 1.4: ElvUI: Changed Player and Target UnitFrame texts. I mistakenly had power instead of health, so now nameplates for Player and Target should show health now. Please note Real Mob Health is not yet implemented into ElvUI as of 1.07, so Target can only show percent. Version 1.3: Changes rely on ElvUI 1.07. Please update ElvUI. ElvUI: Changed positions of nameplate elements. Changed chat channel background to be hidden by default. To enable the backdrop, go to /ec > Chat and in the Panel Backdrop dropdown, select "Left Only" Adjusted minimap location mouseover text. Changed default datatext readouts (underneath exp bar). Now shows from left to right, gold/durability/bagspace. To change datatext readouts, go to /ec > DataTexts > Right Chat, and use the dropdowns. Adjusted look and layout of party frames. Disabled target of target by default. To re-enable, /ec > UnitFrames > TargetTarget, 'enable' Adjusted tooltip fonts. Moved durability frame. Not sure how to hide it, though. WeakAuras: Fixed visibility of buff corner Version 1.2: ElvUI: Removed name, power and health from player and target unitframes. Replaced these values using custom text. This was done to properly justify the name and power/health texts on the player and target unitframes. Changed position of Stance and Pet bar. Untested. I play a mage, sorry =( Changed position of Micro bar. Micro bar is still disabled by default. /ec > Action Bars > Micro Bar > "Enable" if you wish to enable it. Changed color of frame borders. Changed tooltip anchor to mouse. ElvUI was updated to 1.05. Highly recommend updating! MANY changes were implemented to ElvUI 1.05. Version 1.1: Fixed Databar toggles. Previously, clicking the arrows next to the Databar didn't correctly switch to the reputation bar. This has been fixed. Cleaned up some stuff. Version 1.0: Release |

Q: "X feature is missing from ElvUI!" A: Please note that ElvUI is in very early stages and is receiving updates frequently. If you are experiencing issues such as castbar lag, inability to hide or move certain ElvUI frames, or issues with timers such as buffs, please ensure you are using the latest version of ElvUI. ElvUI changelog can be found here. LINK Q: "I have green boxes! How do I fix it?" A: If you followed the steps above, and you have green boxes all over your screen (see screenshot below), then this means that WeakAuras can not find textures. Common reasons this happens: 1 - You did not download and extract the KompUI.zip file from the "DOWNLOAD" link in the upper-right corner of this site. You must download the KompUI.zip file and extract the folders into your Addons folder. 2- You *did* download and extract the KompUI.zip folder, but to the incorrect location. The path MUST be "_classic_\Interface\AddOns\KompUI" If you open the KompUI folder, you should see several texture files such as "buff_corner_class_border.tga" Example screenshot of this error: |

I can't test this, but this might help: Go into WA settings by typing /wa in-game. Click on the group called "KompUI Class" Expand it by clicking the + button. You'll see a list of WAs. Copy this code: Code:

It should work both ways, but I can't guarantee it'll work perfectly for Retail (things like Vehicle and Pet Battles haven't been skinned, for example) |

Lovely UI
This is such a lovely Ui and it works wonderfully with Retail too as long as you use the up to date Elvui. Well Done and Thanks heaps.

Your interface is beautiful!
The only problem for me is the resolution. I would like that in the near future you can add 2560x1080 resolution. Thanks and sorry for the bad english . |
