Shadowlands Prepatch: As expected, after the release of the prepatch, this UI has stopped working properly. I will release a new version as soon as all the addons that make up this UI are up to date.
SleekUI is a compilation of addons and my personal settings I've put together in the last few months.
I built it around my needs and I've decided to share it after many people asked me to on Reddit. So, unfortunately, it's not too flexible, nor too easy to tweak unless you know where to put your hands.
Should you have any questions or troubles settings it up, feel free to ask
There are still some aspects of the UI I wanted to fix before releasing it but I didn't want to delay it further.
I'll probably release a new version after the SL prepatch!
This UI aims to be:
Functional
Clean
Unique
Aesthetically pleasing
Immersive
Working out-of-the-box (almost...)
This UI is NOT:
Flexible and easy to customize (it's build around my specific needs and taste, I wasn't planning to publish it)
Bug free (I'm not a dev so the code inside my WAs might be have some bugs. Also I haven't had the chance nor the time for extensive testing in the various scenarios)
Finished (it will never be :P)
How to setup:
Open the WoW Retail folder: World of Warcraft\_retail_ .
Backup your Interface and WTF folders (please, do it).
Download and unzip the .zip file, it should contain the Interface and WTF folders.
Place both those folders inside your WoW folder.
Navigate the newly downloaded WTF folder and rename the following folders accordingly: "YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME", "YOUR_SERVER_NAME", "YOUR_CHAR_NAME".
Log into WoW.
Some of the addons will already have the correct profile loaded. For others such as Kaliel's Tracker, Omnibar, Omnicc, Omnicd and GladiusEX go to the addons settings and load the "SleekUI" profile.
Check the "Use Global Profile" setting in SexyMap.
How the core abilities bar works:
This is a bit convoluted so I've uploaded a short video to help me to explain it:
It is basically a WeakAura that mimics the abilities from slot "x" to slot "y". You can set those x and y slots inside the Options tab of the WeakAura. In my case I've set "49" to "54", which correspond to the first 6 slots of the ElvUI action bar number 2.
I've then placed the ElvUI action bar number 2 right above the WeakAura Icons with the Alpha set to 0.
This way I can retain the functionaly of the actual action bar (move abilities around, tooltips on mouseover, click the ability...).
Main addons list:
ElvUI
WeakAuras
Details
Kaliel's Tracker
GladiusEx
Masque
OPie
SexyMap
TinyTooltip
OmniBar
OmniCC
OmniCD
The beautiful class icons you see in my screens are taken from the Icy-Veins website.
I'v been granted permission to share the slightly edited textures files inside this collection directly from the website owners. Many thanks to the author of the icons and the owners of Icy-Veins
i've bein one of the reddit readers stalking the site for any news And Kapow a job you done !
Sick "second action bar" feature, looking insane, also with the neat Unit frames !
One question, whould it be posible to have key binds text on the second bar ? or maybe' a problem with the cd feature ?
And fyi, Profile for gladius, omni bar ( prob also cc/cd ) to "SleekUi", and SexyMap to "global profile" seems needed :-)
allready set it up perfectly on all toons :-)
its so mesmerizing to play with :-) !

Very good job sir !
Ahh! You might be right, I'm going to double check tomorrow and edit the instruction page, thank you for the feedback!
I'm so glad you like it! As far as your question about the keybindings is concerned: I'll check the WoW APIs and see what I can do
First of all , this ui looks awesome, trying to test it tomorrow! One question, which font you are using, looks very clean!
Thanks
Hey! Thank you very much. The fonts I'm using are Russo One (basically for the units' names and other headings) and Saira/Saira Condensed for almost everything else.
You'll find them in the interface files

I am another player who noticed your UI in the Reddit thread, it looks great. Did you create a profile on Wago.io with all of your weakauras? I don't want to completely replace my UI but I would like to try and recreate your unit frames for my classic ui. I am assuming the player name with the class icon and the unit portrait are weakauras?

My Auras are so intertwined with the other addons (ElvUI mainly) that it wouldn't make much sense to have them without the rest of the UI, imo.
However I've just exported them for you, you can find them here https://wago.io/p/Bigabyte00

Awesome, thank you for posting. I like tinkering with my UI. The player and target make perfect sense.
This UI is nice neat and clean. Had to change some stuff for my druid. Action bar 1 didnt change when shapeshifting. Reset the bar and placed it back fixed it.
Also under the minimap in the small black border placed the XP bar so its nice and smooth.
Found this a few days ago on reddit and so happy you released it. Thanks for your work

Thank you for downloading it The action bar thing is weird but I'm glad you've eventually got it to work
Just wanted to say how much I love your UI to me it's kind of the right mix of minimal but also visually awesome. I do have one question though. How do you see the procs on your skills/spells on the core abilities bar? I noticed that they don't show up at all when I play my Warlock. Or is it only implemented for classes that you play yourself? Which makes sense ofc. Just curious if I am missing something. Again, awesome UI!

Thank you for your kind words
What do you mean by "procs"? Can you make me an example?
I've briefly showed how the bar works in the dedicated section in the description. But I'm not sure that's what you mean...
