After many painstaking hours of development and testing (huge thanks to all my friends that helped test!) my newest creation is ready for the general public.
TTSpellTimer
Summary
This is a stand-alone addon that will display various debuff and timer related effects for a large number of spell and abilities. Each class has a supported set of spells, which will be listed later in this document. Using this addon does not require you to create macros for each of your spell or abilities. Just install and play as normal!

Suggestion
i must say awesome addon aswell as your crafting addon. I know it is designed to be "out of the way", but could you possibly make the frame moveable. Thanks and keep up the good work!
*EDIT* Nevermind it is moveable, just have to click exactly on the boarders Bugs: Warlock- Warlocks can can only apply one curse per target. For some reason when i for example put Curse of Agony on a mob, then Curse of Elements, the curses wont overwite eachother. Also this applies with the same dot if applied twice. They dont overwrite so they stack. Improvements- Here's a pic of the last timer i used, it's from a warlock mod for necrosis, however as of 1.9 it's borked and only works when it wants to. What you might want to use from that is the way how it shows which dots/curse are under each mob. That way it's a bit more organised and compact, also very useful when you fight many mobs with the same name http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/3931/wowscrnshot0108062044158xm.jpg

Just what I wanted!
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Just a few notes: I also have noticed the bug where it looses the name of the target. At first I thought it might have been because I use WatchDog which does click casting but it works I would say 90% of the time and just every once in a while misses. The other bug I have is I get an error when I use my mouse4 button which is bound to my 0 key which is inner fire. It complains it doesn't know who self is. I'm confused as to why it is even trying to track inner fire as it isn't an option and it wouldn't make sense anyways since you can't cast it on anyone but yourself. Anyways Keep up the Awesome work! I couldn't find in the released forum for this so I'll ask here. I love this mod, nice and simple and does what it says it does.
My suggestion/wishlist is the ability to resize/scale the timer window. I play at .64 scale and sometimes the timer window is a little small to identify timers on the fly. |

I downloaded this yesterday and so far I love it! I just have one problem, for some reason my Curse of Agony spell doesn't show up on the timer. I don't have any other curses applied either. I tried it on a bunch of different mobs and it never showed up once.
Any help is appreciated. |

I'm having the same problem. Reloaded 3 or 4 times, still no fix. Any other ideas?
EDIT: So, I got the window to appear on some spells. I guess I just needed a 5th reload. However, I can't get the timers to come up on my Rejuvenation spell, nor any other spell that doesnt directly put me in combat. Am I misunderstanding an option or some such? I don't have the "Remove timer when out of combat" option checked except for those spells that necessitate me being in combate, ie hibernate, challanging/demoralizing roar, etc.

Bugs
Thanks for all the bug reports everyone. I'll start looking into these and get an update out as soon as possible.
If you are having problems getting the timer window to show up, here's something you can do in the mean time to work around the problem: Delete the TTSpellTimer.lua file at the following location: <WoW Install Folder>\WTF\Account\<account name>\Saved Variables\TTSpellTimer.lua This file contains your customized settings so if you delete it to fix the problem with the timer window not showing up you will lose any custom settings you applied. Re: Bugs
I love this UI, however it doesn't take into account the shadow word: pain talents... I modified the spell descriptors to take care of that... Talents = { ["Improved Shadow Word: Pain"] = { Ranks = { 3, 6 }, TalentId = 4, TreeId = 3, }, }, ....... Also, it doesn't take into acount ShadowWord Pain overwriting itself. If you double cast SWP on a target, it just gets stuck, and will not ever have that spell update with a timer again. If you let it run its course it works fine... I thought that setting Unique would take care of that... But it didn't... spdkils |
