Ever get tired of WoW's default music?
Wish you could use your Final Fantasy battle music while in combat?

Checked Forum didn't see a post so I'll give my idea here ^_^
Not sure how the game detects if you're stealthed off the top of my head, but I'd love to hear some spy music when stealthing about lol |

Am I missing something? The pdf states you can't stop the intro music, but you've provided tracks to "mute" the music that plays when we wander into Stormwind, the Undercity, etc...
Does this mean we can replace those "mute" tracks with something of our own? Say, for instance, I want to hear the theme for Minas Tirith every time I walk into Stormwind. Could I rename the track in question to "stormwind_intro" or something similar to achieve the desired effect? Let me know here or in email, Morricone. Great looking mod so far. |

A better method would probably be for me to add a flag to zone music like "Use as intro music", so that that track would only play once when you enter a zone, allowing users to create their own intro music (I would still need the overrides however, because those start and I cannot stop them from the addon). |

Hi!
There should be some way to prevent the mp3:s from looping. For example, I have a death.mp3 what plays every time when I die and there is a different mp3 for the deathwalk. So when I'm in an instance and I die, the death.mp3 begins. It plays once and the second time and keeps looping until I release. So what I would like to happen is that just the death.mp3 plays once and when I release it plays the deathwalk.mp3 what could loop. Edit: I noticed this, that when youre in a zone where some Soundtrack music plays and you enter combat, after the combat, the normal music of the zone plays :/ Edit2: Ok, it seems like it doesnt happen always. Or is it because of the different named places of one zone? Also, in the "Zones" the zones should be groups what you can open and see the places of that zone.

News
Hi everyone, as you noticed I havent been on much lately. I've been really busy at work, and I will be until E3. I'm working on a game that will get shown at E3 in mid-May. After that, I will have time to play some WoW again and fix issues with my addon and new features. In the meantime I hope you can still enjoy Soundtrack as it is!

UPDATE
Hello I am new to this forum. I am enjoying soundtrack mod and I was wondering when we can get an update for the soundtrack program. It still works with the current patch, but the flight music doesn't work anymore since the update of wow.
Are you planning on releasing an update soon? |

I'm baaack! Sorry for the long delay, I promise to catch up on all your comments and will upgrade Soundtrack over the weekend to work with the latest version of Wow. New features will probably come in slower than usual though cause I've got a pretty busy schedule at work these days and I have less time to play Wow.
In case you are curious, I've been working on a game called Assassin's Creed. It was introduced at E3 just last week and is scheduled for a 2007 release. http://www.assassinscreed.com/ |

quick question
Great Mod! I have been looking for this function ever since Boogiebox got discontinued! Thanks for creating it, and thanks even more for updating it today!
The only trouble I'm running into is that my battle songs are only lasting a few seconds, and end before the end of the battle. I haven't been able to find any setting to correct this. And yes, the song lengths are plenty long to fill a fight. Any advice? Thanks again! |

What would be the odd chance you could zip your tracks and send them to me? I like your selection and don't have alot of time to gather them.....

Re: quick question
I just fixed the issue you were having. This must be another effect of 1.10 changes because that definitly worked before. Basically, the addon thinks you leave stealth mode in the middle of battles, so the battle music was cut short, and the zone music wasnt restored. I've made a fix, hope it works for you too. |

music still cutitng short
Thanks so much for updating so promptly! Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem for me. (Strangely enough, the first time I entered battle after updating, the music worked fine. But after that, it cut's short right after I start the battle.) To update, all I did was copy the new files into the old directory, replacing the old files. Do you have any other suggestions? Do you think it could be something with the fact that I'm playing rogue (seeing that some of the moves take you out of battle)? I'm not inclined to say this is the case though, because the music stops even if I don't use rogue abilities.
Again, any help is appreciated. Thanks so much for updating this great mod! P.S. I just tested the mod with my mage and it works fine. Guess it must just be the rogue class =/
