Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

I worked around this by binding the custom menu button to shift-right mouse button. I'm not sure, but I wonder if ag_unitframes uses alt-right mouse button for bringing up its own menu. Hope this helps. |

I'm having a problem using the new "Show Menu" feature.
I use ag_unitframes. When I bind a mouse click to show menu, it shows the configuration menu of the frame, instead of the default unit menu. Any chance this can be fixed soon? |

i.e. 1. Open Spellbook 2. Open CliqueUI 3. Click "Custom" 4. Select an icon 5. Click the "macro" radio button 6. Set a click-binding 7. type (or copy/paste) /castsequence Divine Favor, Holy Light(Rank 9) into that edit box. Should work =)

I have a couple of questions. So there is no way to execute any scripts anymore?
Or maybe have it so that you can implement a way to do the Sequence Casting. Like I have a macro that works great, you do have to click / mash the button the number of times to be able to cast the spells that you want, but it works. Like for a paladin I have this for a macro: /castsequence Divine Favor,Holy Light(Rank 9) Is there any way that that Sequence castings can be an option for Clique? |

You can make a macro which does this: /cast [target:mouseover] Flash Heal and bind that to F12. That should work.

well, even if i would manage to bind 4 and 5 somehow through the intended means I end up 3 buttons short as I have 8 (and yes use them all). Atm. I have the workaround running that I assign keystrokes via the logitech driver software to the buttons, so when i do the keybindings in wow instead of mouse6 (which does not exist) I get what i configured in the logitech driver, say F12.
So i can use mouse6 because it emulates key F12 pressed instead of mouse6. This works in wow quite fine, but of course not with clique. As i have no idea of real programming it might not even possible when you would receive that F12 to make heads or tails where my mouse is over which raidframe atm. |

This might be the wrong time asking this in the middle of the patch maniac going, but maybe there is a simple solution I am not aware of:
I am using a Logitech mouse which has more then three buttons and/but dont seem to be able to use the extra mouse4 and mouse5 featured buttons in games in general. So far I never bothered as its easy to reassign keyboard strokes to my buttons above mouse3 and just bind these in the normal keybindings sections of games (read wow here). Now with clique there is now my problem that the config section ignores these button presses (of course i guess) when I try to get something done with clique and my buttons 4 to 8. If its not possible at all atm, consider this a feature request to let me use them in the future when you find the time to code that please. Thanks Markus |

Aside from the missing unit menu function, I'm only having one problem. I always rebind my left and right mouse buttons for different heals and such and then bind my target unit to Ctrl+Shift+left click which worked just fine in previous versions. When I attempt to do that now, I get an error stating "CliqueOptions.lua:1037: attempt to concatenate 'arg2' (a nil value)". This occurred whether I had something listed in the Unit: box or not. Perhaps I'm just not sure what needs to be put in there. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you for continuing your work on this wonderful mod.
