Any chance that some kind of preview feature could be added to the selection of sounds for events?

is there anyway to set this mod up to have the damage i deal to a target to be displayed over the targets head, like the default blizzard setting- but with the scrolling and text styles of the addon?
I ask because tracking damage done to multiple targets is a pain because its all displayed in that one outgoing frame-- rather than just displaying over the target(s) |

Not sure if i'm doing something wrong, but here's something (may be a bug) i found...
I like setting up seperate notifications when certain cooldowns are ready with custom audible alerts. Psychic Scream for example. I set up a trigger to give me an alert with a custom wave i made when its cooldown is up. Being I also have Cooldowns Enabled, it shows up as 2 simultaneous alerts. I tried to disable Cooldown Notification and just stick to my custom trigger but unfortunely my custom cooldown triggers won't work unless the Cooldown Notification is enabled. Is there something I'm doing wrong or...? Btw my hats off to you on this addon, i've been religously checking on this page for updates and have been miserable without it. I appreciate all your hardships put into it. ![]()

Beta? Where?
Apologies if this is a stupid question, but how do we obtain the beta? The download link on this site still points to 5.13.
or am I being thick? |

Eiszeit:
That looks like it's due to a change that Blizzard made in Patch 2.4.2 regarding money loot. It is fixed in MSBT 5.13, so make sure you have at least that version. |

Vampa:
Unfortunately I didn't get as much time over the weekend to work on it as I thought I'd have, but nevertheless the beta version is really close to ready. It will likely be tomorrow or Thursday evening. Here is a little info on what to expect. The new trigger system is completely based around the events the new Blizzard combat log exposes plus some additional ones like health/mana changes and skill cooldown completions. Every event has an entire range of conditions available to be tested with various operators. Similar to the previous version, exceptions are still supported so you can do things like not show the trigger when you aren't in the arena or only show it once every 5 seconds. Basically this means it will handle highly complex expressions, and so long as there is a combat log message for it, you will now be able to trigger on it even if it isn't something I've already thought of since it is no longer based on a limited set of high level abstractions.

I plan to have a beta version of 5.2 with the new trigger system and a greatly optimized event parser up by the end of the weekend. I know that people had come up with some clever triggers with the old capability of search patterns, and my goal is to bring that level of flexibility back into the system.
Since I'd like to get the code out and get some testing on it as soon as possible, I won't have documentation for the new trigger system in the readme in the beta release, but it should be fairly straightforward to use. As the beta test commences, I'll be getting the trigger guide and FAQs updated. |

Nahima:
Are you at version 5.13? The behavior your describing is exactly how it was in prior versions. The damage done from a reflect is treated as if you were the one casting the spell. I didn't add the specific reflect message itself until version 5.12. To clarify, you won't see "[icon] Reflect (amount)!". What you should see though is "[icon] Reflect!", next event "[icon] amount". If the first reflect message isn't showing up in the latest version, then it's possible there is a bug I need to fix. Tabs: The process is the same as for polymorph breaking except it would be a Debuff Application with an application number of 1 instead of a Debuff Fade.
