About Outfitter

Outfitter is an equipment management addon which gives you fast access to multiple outfits to optimize your abilities in PvE and PvP, automated equip and unequip for convenience doing a variety of activities, or to enhance role-playing.

Outfitter includes an icon bar for fast access to your outfits, a minimap menu for fast compact access, support for LibDataBroker, scripting with a library of pre-made scripts for most common tasks, outfits optimized for a particular stat, item comparisons across outfits, quick access to items via the character sheet, and more.

Everything seems to be working fine, although there is one oddity that crops up randomly. When first entering the work the outfit will display as custom even though normal is selected. Selecting normal again will correct this so it isn't a big issue and it used to happen with OutfitterFu via FuBar2Broker (which I now no longer need ).

For what it's worth, the LDB implementation using Broker2FuBar works just as good as the native FuBar plugin. Why not just remove FuBar support and let FuBar users like myself just use Broker2Fubar? Everyone else seems to be on that bandwagon...heh.

I may have to do that, but right now I'm still working on making it all play nice together. If I can't get it to support both native FuBar and LDB at the same time I'll just dump the FuBar support.

I think it may have been a part of some other bug though because I had fixed other problems before trying it. I'll post a new version soon with those fixes.

The FuBar one shows only the word "Outfitter" while the broker one shows the name of my outfit. However the broker one (like all broker stuff) will only appear on the left of the bar, which is annoying. I also can't turn off the broker one. With the FuBar one I accidentally clicked "Detach Fubar Tooltip" and now the tooltip doesn't work and I cant turn that off. Last edited by Clavicle : 11-09-08 at 04:47 PM.

I'll look into the settings issue (this is my first experience with using the Ace/Rock libraries, so I probably failed on that one).

Not sure about the current outfit text though, that was working fine for me in testing.

I wanted to add that if anyone has trouble with the tooltips in their LDB display after using Outfitter's LDB plugin to change outfits, see if you have "Hide World Frame Tips Instantly" selected in TipTac. (Yes, I had trouble with it, and hope this can maybe preserve sanity for someone, somewhere.) __________________ I'm not an idiot. I'm just harmlessly psychotic. Let me know if you experience this and can find a way to reproduce it reliably so I can track it down. Thanks!

Lol, I know, but I haven't seriously played my warlock for a couple years now. I'm sort of lazy by nature and and being an engineering frost mage has to be the ultimate class for that -- teleports, crowd control and damage galore makes me happy in the pants.

But, isn't he a *cute* mage?
