2.4 PTR notes basically say that unique-equipped gems (mainly, the Heroic drops) will no longer be so. That should fix this issue (unless someone really has two sets that use the same unique-equipped ring, but in different slots, but if that's the case they should just harmonize the sets).

Long-term, yes, Blizzard has stated a desire to build an ItemRack/Outfitter type service. Were I to guess, I'd bet this is on the plan for WotLK but will be pushed out due to time constraints, and introduced in a 3.2 or 3.3 (much like the Guild Bank).

I do have a request, though.

The old ItemRack had the ability to save, with each set, whether you wanted the head and back slots visibility set or not in the Interface options. You could also set it so that it didn't change it (rather like the slot settings).

Can this functionality be reinstated?

I've been noticing a delay that builds up when I mouse over the itemrack Slot buttons, either in the Character SHeet, or the 3 I have on screen.

Key-binding could use a tweak, currently it's impossible to add something like SHIFT-2 without hacking the bindings directly out of game.

A workaround for the binding is to hold your modifier down BEFORE you click the "Bind" button, then hit it and bind whatever key you want. For me, at least, it saves the modifier with the keypress.

Yes, it's that lame "not quite a developer" person with a TOC update. This update is ONLY for those who care about having "out-of-date" addons. The changes are as follows:

• Updated interface to 20400 on ItemRack.toc and ItemRackOptions.toc

• Updated in-game version on ItemRack.xml

Second that.. I'd like to get all my addons managed by JWowUpdater.. this is one of the few that isn't yet.

I cant select my 'Seidene Gewandung des erbarmungslosen Gladiators' (DE) (Merciless Gladiator's Silk Raiment (EN)) via the character window. It just doesn't appear there.

I use the 2.1e version.

Since I love this mod and could not image being a druid with out it. And understanding the frustration of managing mods I Reposted Item rack to the curse.com website. So that their updater can help you now I only have the older version on but I will post the new 2.1e for the rest of you if you wish to use this route. Its a fan posting will full credit to Ath an Gell as I am retarted when it comes to making these things.

I have a save durability (partially nude) set that I hit when I know there's a wipe or I know that I will die. When I try to re-equip, it always gets stuck that the point of equipping my 2Her and leaves my ranged weapon in my bag.

I'm reverting back to the old outdated ItemRack as it has not given me any trouble and the lag it causes is only for the split second that I swap sets.
