LightHeaded is a very simple addon that displays quest information and comments from http://www.wowhead.com in game, eliminating the need to Alt-Tab when you get stuck on quest. This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. Data is only loaded when you first request it, so you can be sure you're not using more memory than you need to.

I HIGHLY suggest using this addon with TomTom, another one of my addons (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...32-TomTom.html ). This allows you to simply click any coordinate in LightHeaded to add it to your map as a waypoint.

The following slash commands are valid:

/lh attach - Attaches the frame to the quest log
/lh detach - Detaches the frame, allows you to resize and move it
/lh sound - Toggles the open/close sound
/lh page - Toggles showing all comments on one page, or with multiple pages
/lh bgalpha <0.0-1.0> - Changes the alpha of the LH window background textures, so you can see the world.
/lh debug - Enables or disabled debug messages when loading quest databases
/lh config - Opens the LightHeaded configuration window
/lh autodetails - Toggle automatic opening of the Lightheaded window when clicking a quest in the objective tracker

LightHeaded now includes the English descriptions and introductory text for most of the quests in the game. This is disabled by default, but can be enabled for those players that are not playing in their native locale.

LightHeaded supports sending coordinates to TomTom, MapNotes, Cartographer2 and Cartographer3.

IMPORTANT: Addon authors that wish to use this API and data should
include the wowhead logo in the frame that displays this information.
They are kind enough to let me continue parsing their database, and we
owe them at least that much. Thank you.

Yes, but you didn't just report the error, you made a snide remark at the same time. It wasn't helpful, constructive, or even nice. I have enough trouble keeping things updated for my users and taking time out of my day to code and get things prepared. The more crud that's thrown into the mix really disturbs things.

And for your info no I had no errors before. I am just addicted to addons and am surfing all the time for cool and better addons so I am fully aware usually the second an addon is updated. This one was worse the frame was like all over the place and detached.

Thanks for reporting back. Yes I will be adding the LoD stuff, but not at the moment. It would make all of the debugging Im' trying to do about 10 times more difficult =(

I don't update often and when I updated this morning r213 was the newest so I grabbed that, when it didn't work for me I deleted everything lightheaded and started with the first revision in january. They all worked for me up to and including r209. That was when i started getting the blank page with the extra bar that extended 2/3 approximately across the screen. Everything in it is working just fine for me in r214 with the exception that when I click on a co-ordinate (that used to have an arrow pop up in the middle of my screen) I instead now get a lua error interface/addons/lightheaded/lighteaded.lua :70: bad argument #2 to 'format'(number expected, got string) But hey I have the comments again I can live without the arrow which is likely because I disabled something in cartographer or some such. Thank you for your continued hard work. Have a cup of tea and relax.

I am going to respond as nicely as I know how.

1.) You didn't have to download the new version of LightHeaded. If you don't like it, revert.
2.) Did you miss the part where I did a major internal revamp of the code to improve it and work with the 2.4 quest ids that were just exposed?
3.) I suspect you had more errors before this, specifically the other real error that's already been reported.

Version 214 is being uploaded.

Don't be nasty, it's ugly and it pisses me off. I made it EXTREMELY clear in both the addon description, and in my forum post that this is a new version and may and will have bugs that will need to be resolved.

As soon as I login I get Interface\Addons\LightHeaded\LightHeaded.lua:896: attempt to concatenate field 'version' (a nil value) Then when bringing up the questlog get an empty LH frame with the top border extending past the edge of the frame to the right. q

213 isn't jukin' either. Blank screen with pattern extending beyond the frame and no response to slash commands other than "Type '/help' for a listing of a few commands."
