TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.

TomTom offers the following major features:

Set waypoints via command, or by clicking on the world map
A draggable coordinate display with customizable accuracy. This frame can be hidden or locked.
Set multiple waypoints at a time (such as those you can copy and paste from WowHead)
Player and cursor coordinates on the World Map (these can be hidden)
A floating "crazy-taxi" style arrow that points you to your destination
Displaying the "crazy-taxi" arrow or coordinate block in compatible LDB displays (such as NinjaPanel)
Show a waypoint that points you towards your corpse for easy recovery
Can set waypoints by clicking on quest objective POIs on the World Map and watch frame
Can automatically set waypoints to your closest quest objective

/tomtom - Opens configuration GUI

/ttpaste - Opens a window where you can paste a list of /way commands, such as those you might copy from WowHead, and have them all added in one go!

In addition you can use the /way command to add and reset waypoints. In order to overcome conflicts with the Cartographer /way command, you can also use /tway to access TomTom's waypoint command. The following slash commands are available:

When you set a waypoint, a dot will appear (green) on your minimap. When it goes out of range of the minimap display, it will turn into an arrow, just like the default UI. You can mouse over these waypoints to get detailed information about that waypoint.

TomTom has been designed to publish the Crazy-Arrow and Coordinate Block as LDB feeds, allowing them to be displayed in compatible display addons. I've written a very simple, easy-to-configure panel that is capable of displaying these called NinjaPanel.

If you're looking to bulk import waypoints (to track achievements, etc), a community member has provided a great addon that lets you do this easily. Take a look at Paste.

This method takes a single parameter 'remove'. When true, this will
cause the waypoint to be removed from the current set of waypoints.
When false, this will only clear the waypoint from the active crazy

I'd like to be able to put it in a macro so I can more easily share with my leveling partner or whomever. Some suggestions: /tshare - Shares current waypoint /tshare local - Shares all waypoints from the same zone /tshare all - Shares all waypoints from all zones /tshare status - Checks if your waypoint matches your party (not sure if possible) There's also the stark missing option to disallow shared waypoints though it would be nice if the option was to toggle which sources you allow or not (party, raid, guild, zone, etc) both for accepting and sending arrows.

Hi, I have the same issue. The Arrow will appear for new quests, but will not appear when I click on WQ or a map icon.

I've done this little test of setting a waypoint to 50 50 and that does work.

I have of course updated the addon.

This only started after 10.2 I should add, worked perfectly before.

I'll think about it, not 100% sure. In the meantime you can always run /tway list to get your current location and map ID if that's helpful!

I'm sorry but I'm not able to reproduce this. When I have the waypoint clear distance set to 10 and I create a waypoint, the waypoint is cleared when I'm within 10 yards of it.

However there is a bit of a complication. Other addons can set waypoints and they'll either set the value for arrival distance themselves, or they will use the default. In addition, if you've set a waypoint when the arrival distance was 0, then those waypoints would never be cleared until you manually clear them yourself.

But there's a way to fix at least that problem. If you set the waypoint clear distance to 10 or some other value, then under the TomTom general options there's a button to "Reset waypoints display options to current". This will take all of the existing waypoints anywhere they are and convert them to your current options, which would fix the arrival distance.

Let me know hwat you figure out, but I can't see this being an issue at the moment.
