TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

graphic not appearing?
I just downloaded the new TomTom today, and I'm noticing that I no longer have a graphic to show me where to go if I click on coordinates. The arrow appears on my mimimap, but when I open up my normal map - or get close enough tht the loc icon should be showing up on my mimimap - there's nothing there. I'm also not getting the announcement that I've arrived at a location.
Forgive me if someone already addressed this - I did look back through but didn't see anything quite like this. |

Didn't there used to be a big red arrow on screen directing you to your next way point...with distance and coord options? I SO miss that...though I love the minimap feature as well...

2.) You changed your addons, that functionality was previously provided by Cartographer_Waypoints. 3.) That functionality will be included in TomTom in an upcoming update. Thanks!

I've been getting this error since the new versions. It still works but the little error is always there.

A few things:
1.) When does this happen 2.) Are you absolutely and 100% positive you are using the latest version of TomTom. Please don't report an issue, unless you've verified that you are using the latest version, at the moment you think about posting. I fixed this issue in a commit and release a day or two ago, and I'll be really confused if it's still around. Thanks!

I cannot get TomTom to work as i get the message in Wow:
Lightheaded: NPC locations are not supported in this version of TomTom. I checked error log, same error I have been getting the past couple days. I have tried re downloading (double checking that both LightHeaded and TomTom are the latest versions per listing). Each new install I have attempted, I have cleaned out the addons, the saved variables and have played around and disabled addons and tried just those two.. no luck. TomTom just won't load - even though the addons window show it is. I am not big on using alot of addons, but I am very much interested in Lightheaded/TomTom. Error I am having: Date: 2007-11-17 13:31:33 ID: 3 Error occured in: Global Count: 1 Message: ..\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom.lua line 18: Cannot find a library with name 'Astrolabe-0.4' Debug: [C]: ? it looks like when you're extracting TomTom, you're not getting all the files, in particular the Astrolabe directory that is underneath it. Please try extracting the .zip file using some other software (Windows XP's default should work fine) and make sure you copy the ENTIRE TomTom folder into your Addons directory. It should have the following layout:
If you dont' have all of those files, something is still wrong.
