TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

I'm having a very odd issue related to waypoints.
I installed and used the WoW-Pro leveling guide that interacted quite cleanly with TomTom to give me waypoint arrows for quest objectives and such. Everything worked fine. However, lately one specific quest (which I completed ages ago) in Vashj'ir, keeps popping up as a waypoint (or set of 3 waypoints) on TomTom, even though I've disabled the leveling guide and I keep removing the waypoints manually. But no matter what I do, the next time my interface reloads the waypoints are back and so is the arrow. Help! For what it's worth, the quest is Buy Us Some Time in Vashj'ir. |

I'm having trouble with TomTom's Crazyarrow. No matter what I do, it won't show up. I've uninstalled it, deleted all it's settings, and reinstalled it and the arrow still doesn't show up. Addons that are using TomTom (Routes) report that the waypoint is set and it shows on the map, but no matter what, the crazyarrow stays hidden.
What's going on? EDIT: Nevermind, one of my addons was interfering with it. Turns out that addon had embedded an old version of TomTom into it's code. (Is that even allowed?)

Zygor was relying on some bizarre internal detail to tell the difference between TomTom and Carbonite pretending to be TomTom (which I find detestable, by the way). That was removed and I won't be putting it back, so I've emailed them to see if they can update their detection.

I can verify what Radoznali is saying is accurate. I am using the trial version of zygor and before the Tomtom update, they worked together fine. Updated Tomtom through the Curse updater and then Zygor doesn't even see Tomtom as an option. Archy however continued to work with Tomtom integration. I downloaded the most recent version of Tomtom prior to the last update (v40100-1.3.3) from the Curse page and then Zygor saw and could use Tomtom again, so it has to be something that was changed in Tomtom. Just my two cents

It's a bit tricky, since that's an 'optional' callback and I don't believe the Quest POI integration, and certainly not Routes contains those callbacks. I could look into making it a global option (which it probably should be).
So in short its not really a bug, its the desired behaviour, but the desired behaviour *can* change =)

I'm having trouble getting the "ping" sound to play. I can only seem to get it to play when manually entering a waypoint (and the arrow also points downward as a visual cue). It does not play when a quest objective is reached, and, most importantly, it does not play when reaching a destination after importing a set of waypoints. (I use Routes.)
Any suggestions? |
