TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

/way reset nagrand How would a label on coordinates help? That's not the issue with clicking them.. which I haven't been able to resolve yet.

In lightheded i have problems clicking cords and most of the time i make many points. It's dificult to delite all of them. Can there be also delite all in grup or somhing when you are deliting them. And if posible a label on cords insted of yust text sensitive in lightheaded so it would be easier to click on it. Tx
Great adon in ewrything else. |

Re: love it
Not at the moment, although I'd like to add something like this, there are technical limitations that prevent me from doing it the right way.

love it
Love tomtom and lightheaded, it rocks....
I would like to ask a few things of the god-like addon maker Is it possible to make the waypoints a different color? (Maybe even choosing the color you want) But i'd be ok with a consistent darker color, like gray or red... (I have a hard time seeing the bright green) The other thing which annoys me, but is still a neato idea - is the red arrow... Granted I can move it, and clear the waypoints to make it go away.. It's still a little inconvenient for me Other than that.... OMFG I almost hugged the dude who told me about this mod..... Literally the coolest thing since sliced bread, for me anyways |

I love this addon, I've been using it for ages. But I have a suggestion for some features to add that I think would improve it more.
Above my character I'd like to see an arrow pointing to the first waypoint (like seen in Cartographer Waypoints, but that also doesn't have the full functionality I'm looking for, at least not that I'm aware of). Combined with that, the ability to pull up a screen that shows the waypoints in their numbered order, which would let us reorder them. Once we arrive at #1 the waypoint would disappear as it does now, but then the other waypoints would move towards the #1 slot (#2 becomes #1, #3 becomes #2) and the arrow now points at the new #1 waypoint. This might be best done as an additional addon that accesses TomTom, since I'm guessing not everyone would want this functionality and making these changes (even if they could be disabled) might "ruin" TomTom for other fans. |

More info on the error reported by Disparu
Hi Cladhaire,
I've been doing some testing and the issue is that the icon object is nil, thereby causing the call to Astrolabe to fail. I noticed that this happens on login, the entry created in the Enable function does create an icon object and stores it in the m_points table, but by the time the PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD function is run the object is now nil. As a temporary fix I have put a check for the existence of entry.icon before the call to Astrolabe in my copy and it doesn't throw an error anymore. HTH |

Cladhaire it occurs during log in, and sometimes setting way points. However as that is all the information I get how much more info can I give you? I didn't specify as it's not a persistent error, it just appeart to occur randomly.

I get that or a similar error when TourGuide had waypoints set when I logged out the previous session. You running TourGuide Disparu?
It doesn't break anything for me so I hadn't worried about it. Just cleared BugSack after log in and continued on my merry way.

I now get this error:
["message"] = "TomTom\\TomTom.lua:735: Bad argument #2 to 'Astrolabe.PlaceIconOnMinimap' (table expected, got nil)\n\n ---", ["type"] = "error", ["time"] = "2008/01/17 21:54:22", ["session"] = 331, ["counter"] = 1, I can only assume it's because another addon I use has updated Astrolabe to a newer version than the one tomtom is using. Any help would be brilliant. |
