I think you should add profiles so it can stay on the bottom left area of my screen!

One small module request. Would it be possible to add a module that remembers the type of chat message you sent last? For example, if I type something in a certain channel, say /2 for trade, the next time I hit enter to type something it should default to the trade channel instead of reverting to /say every time. This should also work for whispers (remembering the last person you whispered), guild chat, raid chat, etc.

Beautiful. Absolutely minimal, and still does everything I need it to do. Thanks for this.

Thanks jaliborc ! I am very like the addons!
I am try to copy the code from " idchat " to make the font more clear.
omg! that looks wonderful !
if it include the " The Low Down " would be perfect too !
but , how to apply the editbox style ?

Code:
local _G = _G

ChatFontNormal:SetFont(NAMEPLATE_FONT, 14, "THINOUTLINE")
ChatFontNormal:SetShadowColor(0, 0, 0, 0.6)

1) /tt command to send tells to my target w/o typing their name.
2) URL copy
3) No ability to customize fonts.

Are there any plans to add these 3 options in the near future?
Glad you like the footprint. Now, about the feature requests:
1 and 2) I will see what I can do. Not a big priority, although.
3) Not going to happen: there are several stand alone addons that let you do just that. And you may even change the ingame fonts without using any addon.

Don't know how difficult this would be, but the ability to highlight the player name in the chat frame (by color or adding brackets) would make this the perfect chat mod.

I think it was disabled from the addon itself, because the functionality is built into Blizzard's default UI on a per-channel basis. Right click the chat tab -> Settings -> Check the box labeled "Show Class Color" on the channels that you care about.
Yes, class coloring was already included by Blizzard in the default interface.

First off, love the addon and appreciate your work to keep it up to date. One feature request would be the ability to assign a separate color to the timestamp. I tried another chat mod (BasicChatMods I believe) that had this functionality and I found it really made it easier to pick-out the time from a given line in the chat window. It wasn't anything more sophisticated than going into the lua and changing the 6-digit web color code to whatever color you wanted. I compared the timestamp lua code from your mod to that one to see if I might be able to easily shoehorn it in, but their implementation was different enough from yours that I didn't see any easy way.

In any event it's not a deal breaker, just something I'd like to see if possible. Again, thanks for the mod.
I may include a module called "Colorless Timestamps"

This doesn't work with this version.
Enable the "Arrow Mode" module

Keeping the button on the bottom right that allows you to scroll to the current chat is nice but I've noticed it starts flashing as soon as I scroll up. Normally it is supposed to be there but flash only if you have new text incoming.
This is important to me cause I have a separate window dedicated to whispers and guild chat. I like to scroll through whisper history but I scroll back down immediately if I see it flashing since it means someone whispered me again in the meantime.
LM Chat only changes the position of the button, it does not interfere with the button's flashing.
