SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

/sbf throttle [0.0 - 1.0]
If you set it to 0.0, it'll refresh every single time the buff event fires.

That's odd, there's no way that debuffs should go to frame 1. Try this, then. Log out of the game. In .../World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/YOURACCOUNTNAME/SavedVariables, delete (or rename if you want to try without blowing away all your settings) the SatrinaBuffFrames.lua file. That will reset everything to defaults.

piebond - strange! I will look into it
shinanigans - If your debuffs are going into frame 1, there's a filter or buff flowing that's making that happen. Look for a filter 1:h, and/or check the buff flowing settings to make sure that frame 2 is not set as a child of frame 1 (look here: http://evilempireguild.org/SBF/flow.php)

Hi, I've been using SBF for around a year and recently I've been having a problem with my debuffs, they keep getting sorted into Frame 1 with my buffs so they move around whenever I gain a proc or a new buff. I've reinstalled and updated the addon about twice now but I still can't seem to be able to get them to move to frame 2 where they belong.
It's a pretty big inconvenience on bosses like thaddius where I have to closely watch my debuffs. I really like this mod and would hate to have to switch to buffalo because of such a minor problem so any help would be appreciated.

Hi again and thank you for this mod!
I'd like to share a problem that I currently have. It is very minor but is a bit of an inconvenience--my buff bars (for buff frame 2) sometimes appear to be longer than what they should be. Debuffs appear to be almost twice as long as they regularly are. This occurs very randomly, and I can't seem to pinpoint a cause for it. I apologize if another person has posted about this problem. I posted a link (hopefuly it's ok to post one) of a screenshot demonstrating the problem, where you can see that the "dazed" debuff is irregularly longer than the "gore" debuff. Thanks in advance, and once again, great mod! |

Summon Water Elemental does not give you a buff, so SBF (and Elkano's and Buffalo) will not display anything for it. You'll need a mage-specific addon to track your elemental's remaining time. (I wish it did give a buff, it would be handy for my mage!)

I am trying to figure out how to do something and need a little help.
I am a Mage and I want to track the Time Remaining when I summon my Water Elemental....how do I do this? I have gone through every tab and can't find any way to do this (I'm sure I am just missing it . |
