SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

Back to SBF and loving it, great for showing the buffs I care about in one large easy to read frame, and all the annoying stuff I need to be able to check, but not as worried about in a smaller less detailed frame.
However... I am having a problem with Buff Frame 2 showing over my bags when I open them. I have my buffs on the right side of my screen, and when I open my bags Buff Frame 1 is behind the bags, but Buff Frame 2 is in front of them. With my prefered positioning this makes my backpack covered in buffs.... which is annoying. Any way to change the display level? Update: I have checked the Strata on both buff frames and they are set to LOW. So either I am misunderstanding Strata, or I am really confused; or both.

Holy slow site today =(
Beta 11 up, specifically to fix the errors Khaira and noble8 reported. That enchant one was annoying, yep! |

Thank you for your hard work Satrina.
I have found a small issue. When sorting by time Tracking is not counting as an aura with max time. I think Tracking should be the icon on the first position. Keep up the great work! Best regards X-buZZ |

I'd like to point out that in SBF 2.0 I had significant issues with my buffs and debuffs seeming to stutter and skip duration counts. I would go invisible at the 2 second mark sometimes (back when the fade time was 5 seconds) and crucial CC debuffs I was waiting on to fade, faded earlier than expected, which always threw me off in pvp.
I sincerely hope whatever performance upgrades you're making, it's not going to bring back this behavior. Oh and thanks for telling me about the buff spacing. I must've missed it since it looked different than before.

Beta 10!
- ButtonFacade is still disabled - Added throttling to the event input to reduce unnecessary extra work when buffs are coming and going quickly - Fixed an error where the Copy From dropdown never got updated - Some general performance enhancements Throttling keeps SBF from redoing buffs more than every X time period. If three priests drop 3 renews on you in half a second, SBF would normally try to update for each one as it lands, which is wasteful since you really don't need up to the millisecond tracking of buffs. Throttling to 0.50 seconds forces SBF to not update more often than every half second, no matter how many times the "got a buff!" event fires in that time. You can mess with the throttling setting with /sbf throttle. /sbf will display the current throttle setting - the default is 0.50 seconds and the valid range is 0.00-1.00 seconds. It may be that 1 second throttling is plenty fine even in a raid. If you play with the setting, let me know what ends up working best for you. If it turns out that 0.75 or even 1.00 seconds is plenty fine even in a raid, I'll set the default there for release. (Stormrage blowed up so we could not raid tonight for me to play with it myself) ButtonFacade and further performance profiling is now my priority. Once that's done and barring any really bad problems, I'll promote to release status.

mythrilgolem - yeah, the exact error would be useful to track the problem down if you're still having it.
daeger - Horizontal and vertical buff spacing works just fine from the Layout tab. |
