SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

Beta 9...
- ButtonFacade is still disabled - The auras have max time option should work correctly - Time remaining filters should work now - When a frame fills, it should correctly discard extra buffs - Frame visiblity options Always, In Combat, Out of Combat, and Never are available again. Mouseover is currently removed. - Random other fixes and tweaks Should be pretty close to release, except for ButtonFacade. Edit: And throttling of the unit aura event.

(Beta 9 will either be early on 18 October or quite late. I'm off and about for most of the day in between.)
Ryan: 1&2 - fixed for next release Ryan and Gatsrew: You seem to both have the same problem. I'll look into the auras thing - I probably did something silly. Should be fixed for next release. The current implementation of buffs for other units is a limited stepping stone to where I want to go. People have been asking for about a year for target debuffs, so I wanted to get a framework in that I can build on, and build a simple interface to get it going. Next beta release of 3.0 has filtering options to show all debuffs, or the debuffs that are castable by you, or the debuffs that you actually did cast. If all goes as planned, there will be a major filter revamp in version 3.1 and you will have all sorts of flexibility for auras on other units.

A couple of issues...
Hi Satrina,
Awesome addon! It's quickly becoming one of my favorites. I'm having a couple problems though. 1. I have target buffs and debuffs going to different frames and have things set to only show 10 of each. When I target someone with more than 10 buffs, I get the following error. SBFElement.lua:155: attempt to index local 'slot' (a nil value) 2. When I turn on the filter by remaining time option I get the following error. SBFFilters.lua:171: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'expFloor' (a nill value) 3. The 'auras have max time' option seems to have no effect for me. Shadow form always get sorted as if it has the shortest time left. I'm sorry I don't have better error messages. I don't have anything like swatter installer yet. I would also like to make a suggestion. I love the way I can set up multiple frames for myself. I use two frames for my buffs; one for short duration buffs in a highly visible location and one for long duration buffs that's a little more out of the way. I would love to be able to mimic this behavior for my target buffs and debuffs, but can only find an option for filtering all buffs into one frame and all debuffs in to one frame. Is there any way to do this or any possibility you would consider adding the necessary functionality? Thanks for creating such a great mod! Ryan P.S. I'm using version beta 8.

I have this set up to emulate the default Blizzard Buff rows as close as possible, and have it set to sort by duration descending. The only problem is, buffs marked with the time of 'aura'(infinite) always appear on the left corner of the top row, as opposed to the top right like the default. I've tried doing reverse/normal and do/don't show auras first, but it always shows them in the top left. Other than that, everything works great and I applaud you on this mod. If the fix to this is very simple don't hesitate to blatantly state it and proceed to make fun of my ignorance, I don't mind.

Acacia - Make sure you're running Beta 7 or 8, which have ButtonFacade support disabled completely. I am still trying to figure out why BF causes huge performance hits.

No errors but I cannot seem to get buttonfacade to skin the buffs and debuffs. I don't even have the option to skin satrina in the buttonfacade menu.
Doh nvm i see you discontinued the plug in for the time being. Good luck on fixing it i can't wait ![]()
