SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

Hi,
I'm a spanish player, and I love SBF, it's my favourite buff addon, because the customization. I have a problem. I'm making my UI with a close appareance, whit the same borders for Kgpanels and Bartender, usin ButtonFacade, but SBF doesn't appear in the options. I tried downloading the addon from UI already made there in WoWInterface, with the borders changed, but it doesn't works. I think it's maybe because I play in spanish, and the part of SBF that enables BF is no localizated. I tried also to see if a could change the SBFButtonFacade.lua, but I don't know of LUA, so I leave it there. There is any fix for my problem? Thanks. PS: As I said, I'm spanish, so sorry if my english is not quite good ![]() |

For those having Button Facade issues, I've found that I have to go into button facade itself and select a different border, then go back to the one I was using, for it to take effect.

I can't figure out what's wrong. I read the entire SBF site and all the comments from the date of the last update but could find only one other person who reported this issue. He commented here once and never said anything again.
![]() I am unable to use right click to dismiss buffs. I don't have any of the "disable right click" boxes checked and I have checked the "activate mouse" box for the Names tab. I've tried just loading SBF and the options to see if there was a conflict with another mod but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions? In other news, I can type /cancelaura Fill-In-The-Blank in record time. ![]()

I read somewhere that newer versions of BF seem to fix the API used by others add-ons to color a skin's borders (apparently fixes some blend issues which might be what is causing the problem with black bordered skins like the one i'm using). Can we expect an update of the SBF code to use this new API ? Thanks a lot again for your time and work! |

About the "black borders" issue with SBF and BF...
It seems that SBF is interpreting the "brightness" of the normal color setting from within BF in a different manner than other addons such as Dominos and OPie. You get the same color visual effect on the addons themselves, but achieve this by using different settings. Im not familiar with the terms, so I'll just post an SS of what I was adjusting. http://i44.tinypic.com/15g2ki9.jpg the slider circled in red is what i had to adjust to get the BF borders looking normal on SBF, whereas this is not needed with Dominos/Opie. While this does restore the prior look, it still does not adress why creating a fresh SBF profile from scratch does not have this problem. |

Looking forward to 3.2 version. I dropped this to use Unit frame auras, but it just doesn't compare. I'm considering picking this back up and tweaking with it.

Looking forward to v3.2 and wondering if it's possible to assign custom colors to bars for specific buffs/debuffs for self and target.
..longtime user and fan, thank you

ButtonFacade issue
Hey there and first of all thanks for writing this awesome add-on.
I'm using SBF with ButtonFacade and the skin "Elegance: Dark" (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...eElegance.html). The problem is, my debuffs are not getting their borders colored. I have checked the option "Don't show SBF icon borders" (and left "Don't color ButtonFacade borders" unchecked of course) like suggested somewhere around the comments here but still no luck. I also checked that the ButtonFacade skin i'm using actually provides a "normal" layer .tga (like suggested on SBF official site) but also no luck ![]() Can you give me any help/clue about what might be causing this problem? Thanks very much in advance! /cheers

Ok, somewhat long, somewhat involved, wholly understandable issue. And it might not even be an issue, might just be a flat out feature request :P
Here's what I'm trying to do. I play multiple toons in multiple roles. Paladin (Prot / ret / holy), Druid (feral tank / feral dps / resto), Priest (Shadow / Disc / Holy), Rogue, and Mage. As complicated as it sounds, what I'm trying to do it make one universal profile to fit all of the above. I'm aware that it may seem a bit bloated and somewhat unreasonable. All that said and done, my specific question is a little more down to earth. What I'm trying to do is write a filter for a specific class or pair of classes. However, with buffs and debuffs being provided for and by multiple classes, this gets tricky. For example, Mangle + Trauma. Now, for my druid, at the moment, I've written the following filter: Code:
n=Mangle&c Code:
n=Trauma Basically, what I'm asking is, is there any way to restrict which buffs/debuffs show up within a given frame by either 1) writing something into the filters so that they only show up for a specific class OR 2) designate specific buffs/debuffs to only apply to a specific character/class? (tldr): Can i make it so mangle/trauma only show up on my druid without using profiles? There's multiple buffs like this, just wondering how to filter them properly.

I'm not sure if I've missed the option somewhere but is there anyway to change the anchor of the tooltip when mousing over the buff frames? Currently It appears it is set to appear above the buff but if the buff frame is located at the top of the screen then the tooltip often obscures the buff being moused over.
