SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

Problem
H i there, love the UI and its actually my first time posting mostly cause I wanted to see if anyone could help me with a small problem I seem to be having.
Up till today I have had no problems with the addon and when I logged on my priest today I got this error:
*Edit*: just wanted to point out, I got the second error when I made a third frame and was going to whitelist some spells. The spell completion thing did not work and currently only shows "Argent Champion" as a buff to whitelist

Re: Re: Re: Buff frames to appear on mouse hover
It's made on purpose, to not shot down server when your mouse just passing by. EDIT Should made it clear: It's done by Blizzard and nothing you or any addon author can do about it.

Re: Buff frames to appear on mouse hover
Whitelist = only filtered spells shown. Blacklist = filtered spells excluded. By default, all new frames created as Whitelist. |

Buff frames to appear on mouse hover
I would read the entire comment section if there was a search bar, but as seeing there is about 85 pages worth of comments I thought it faster to post up at the top instead.
I have a particular way I would like the buff frame to appear for target buffs. I would like the buffs to appear when I mouse over a target, but each time I try to set the particular frame to "mouseover" in the layout tab (under Frame Visibility), I can't get the frames to appear when I mouse over myself when I know I have buffs active. I have the frame setup over the tool tip button for characters (managed by Cowtip) on the right side of my screen. Is there something that I am doing wrong and do I need to supply a screenshot or some type of report with this post? I am currently at work so unable to do anything till I can get back home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: switch profile via /run
EDIT: I was going to post the error message that I get, but I actually get several errors relating to different mods it appears... But it only happens when I try to switch my SBF profile with SetTheory. Here's the last error that shows up:

Re: CPU usage.
Also, for me, I didn't noticed any significant CPU waste. Some screenshots from my past experimenting: First is about 10 min random killing in Crystalsong. Second is from about 3-5 min fight with Heroic Dummy in Stromwind. Was used five frames. One for player buffs/debuffs, four for single specific target debuff each. |

CPU usage.
Hey Satrina, this mod has really grown a lot since I last had the CPU cycles to use it, amazing progress with it.
What do you feel about the current CPU usage of SBF? Granted I have 9 frames all with their own filters, but using the addon Interface Usage SBF seems to be using up three times as much cpu time as even Grid, and up to 10 times of most "average" addons (measured over the course of an ICC25 raid). Is this because I've splurged on way too many frames and filters?
