SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

Just discovered this via the forum post yesterday. If I am correct this will replace Tell Me When and Need to Know.
I am testing it today.

Re: Re: Cast by me (again)
coh: that was exactly what I was trying to do ("n=sacred shield&my") and I came across the same weird behavior. If I sacred shielded the tank and then cast beacon, it tracked both, but it doesn't pick up SS until Beacon was cast.

It is a bug.
Edit: 1) The my filter is working correctly, as its check when looking at a live buff does not depend on castable. Make sure you set your frame to whitelist! 2) Under normal circumstances (c filter not bugged), using c&my is completely redundant and just wasting time for you. Use one or the other, not both together.

One other thing -- Is it possible to have a bar background color that is 100% opaque? Even when setting the alpha to have a fully opaque bar, it isn't, it's something like 80% opaque.
I tried covering it up with kgpanels, but they aren't saving (or applying, or whatever) their strata/frame level data correctly and it's driving me nuts. edit: It wasn't remembering background level 5 vs background level 0 but it'll remember low level 0 vs low level 1. Worked around it, leaving request up in case there are any other people who want the same.

Using c only will also show me other people's buffs that can be cast on me (particularly for my priest, will show renews and shields and healing related things I wouldn't care about if I was DPSing). Using my only will show procs from trinkets, tier bonuses, and other things that I did cast but are completely irrelevant. Ideally, using c&my will give me only the relevant class spells that I actually need to pay attention to on multiple characters without using a different whitelist for every class. Am I misunderstanding something? I mean, I can set up whitelists per class to achieve what I want, but I'd like to be able to distribute my UI once it's polished a little more without making people do too much initial setup. |

Heya
I also have a question about a filter. I understood that NPC filters effects cast by Non- Player Controlled creatures ( like mobs ). Yet when I set up a whitelist buff frame for a target and use NPC filter it shows me buffs that some other Player Character allied to my target. It seems to also how all my buffs then I target myself. What does the NPC actually filter?

Filter Suggestion
Btw, awesome addon even though it requires alot of time, it is in the end the most customisable buff/debuff/powergain monitor. ^^b
I just wish there were more generic filter options like instead of whitelisting all the power gains u want to see (power infusion, eye of the broodmother, storm power from hodir, etc.) there should be an easier way to have a power gains buff bar. Perhaps I am doing things the hard way and there actually is an easy way around this that I've completely missed or maybe this is just a bit too hard to code currently <_>. Currently, I have to sort out 4 bars independantly. 1st bar (buffs) - general buffs like gotw, fort, ab, auras. 2nd bar (temporary raid heals/shields on me) - hots, pw:s, inspiration, ancestral healing, etc cast on me by raid (including myself). 3rd bar (power gains through boss/players/self/items) - power gains like natures grace, eclipse, power infusion, bloodlust, storm power, trinkets, wild magic potion, etc. 4th bar (debuffs) - debuffs =) My 3rd bar filter page currently looks like this: n=Eye of the Broodmother n=Nature's Grace n=Bloodlust n=Wild Magic Potion n=Storm Power n=Power Infusion n=Clearcasting etc etc Do I really have to continue to whitelist all the power gains I can get in the game?
