SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

Hi Satrina,
I've been using SBF for a while now and wanted to tell you that it's an amazing add-on and that I enjoy using it. Today I decided to clean out my a addons and get a fresh start with everything, so I deleted my Interface folder as well as my WTF folder. Re-d/l'd everything that I wanted with their latest iterations and installed them all. I toyed around with everything till I was satisfied, then went out and did some dailies. Finished a few of them and opened up SBF and created a new frame to display my procs. Got that all set up and so went to the "Spell" tab in order to select which items to whitelist, but what I found was that no spells had been recorded in there at all. I checked both the buff and debuff boxes as well as both buff and debuff frames but there was nothing there. I went through the Troubleshooting guide on your site as well as deleting and re-d/ling SBF from here. Any insight into what I might do differently? Thanks! Edit: Here's a link to YouTube showing you what's going on, or rather, what's not. Need SBF Help Please And hopefully I'm not making a terribly n00b mistake... that'd be embarassing

The cooldown sweep on icons feature is grayed out and I can't figure out why. What am I missing?

Yeah, Curse gives me nothing but grief sometimes. I'm re-uploading 3.1.11 in hopes that it actually gets approved sometimet this week.

Problem is at the moment - the download is failing for 3.1.11 using the Curse Updater... but that's not your fault |

3.1.11 should fix the errors when creating (and removing) frames. Apologies for today's mayhem!

Hm, I am not having that problem at all. I'll bet you got an error but have Lua error reporting turned off.

Hmmm - just got the newest update from Curse - the addon works now, but the bars aren't shrinking...
BTW - love the addon |

You couldn't have reported that before I went and uploaded a new version
I am also aware that while applying a temporary enchant doesn't give an error anymore, it also sometimes does not start its timer. Grr

Issue:
When I'm creating a 3rd frame Addon freezing, not showing up the frames anymore. Dead, error, finished. [2009/05/18 18:34:35-1718-x1]: SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SBFFilters.lua:430: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SatrinaBuffFrame.lua:478: in function `CloseOptions' SBFOptions-3.1\SatrinaBuffFrameOptions.lua:228: in function `CloseOptions' <string>:"*:OnHide":1: in function <[string "*:OnHide"]:1> <in C code>: in function `Hide' Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1526: in function `SetUIPanel': Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1553: in function `MoveUIPanel': Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1584: in function `HideUIPanel': Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1284: in function <Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1276>: <in C code>: in function `SetAttribute' Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1915: in function `HideUIPanel': <string>:"*:OnClick":1: in function <[string "*:OnClick"]:1> --- If I reload interface, I get back the earlier (two) frames as it was before I started adding the new frame. Hope you can fix this since now this is very basic usage. ((and I even screwed up all my config files lol)) Thanks for the fix%! |
