Afflicted is an enemy spell timer mod for PvP (mainly arenas). This is for people who just want useful information, such as an interrupt is on cool down and you're
safe to cast a heal or that Blessing of Freedom is going to be back up for an enemy Paladin soon. If you want to know the cool down of an obscure ability say Whirlwind then this is not the mod for you. New timers for abilities that are not included by default can easily be added under the configuration. However, the system is flexible enough that any enemy timer can be added including traps or totems.

Alerts for when a spell is triggered (or ends), as well as when you interrupt or dispel an enemy are included. All alerts can be shown inside party, raid, raid warning, combat text or a specified chat frame.

Slash command: /afflicted

NOTE: Dispel and interrupt announcements will not be part of Afflicted come next push (when 3.2 goes live), they have been broken off into Purgeatory

*Reworked some spell code to remove any spells in the spell list without an actual spell in game associated with it. This will remove custom added spells that no longer exist in WoD. You shouldn't see any more #XXXXX or similar spells at the top of your spell list.
*Removed spells from the spell list that no longer exist, changed the cooldown for a few others, and upped the spells version number to 14. I anticipate having more spells to add as time goes on (or requests are made) as I didn't take the 20 hours it would take to go through every class and spec and see what new toys they got for WoD.
*Updated wowace libraries to the newest available.

Set arena to default to 3v3 for now since there's not a super-reliable way to predict arena team size that I've been able to test since the patch.
This will fix the problem of the addon not working when in arenas.

*Redone spells, might not have gotten all of them put in that people may want, but the durations and CDs, as well as spells new to Cata (like rebuke and skull bash) have been added into the default.

-Note that this will not effect people who have already used that addon, as the spells list seems to be generated when the addon is first loaded, so if you want the new ones, you'll have to delete the addon under the WTF saved variables folder. You can also add them in yourself.

What timers specifically is it not outputting blackwater? Theres a bug with it not catching timers which will be fixed, so if you don't see a timer showing up in Afflicted then it's another bug, not specifically alerts not working.

Pummel and Kick are planned, as is Earthshock but I need to play with a few things.

PS, HoJ, Intimidation and Shadowstep won't likely be added. PS maybe, but the rest aren't really key things and Shadowstep only lasts until next attack so it's not useful as a buff.

This is meant to show very simple and not every timer available, you won't likely replace this with NECB if you want to know the cooldown of 20 abilities.
:< I know it will be alot of work to replace NECB , the reason i asked it because the author of NECB already announce he will stop developing NECB due to the combat log change in 2.4. Yes i like the way Afflicted work simple and effective JUST FOR PVP and i see it have a lot of potential in 2.4 when NECB stop working. A lot of Pvper will love you for fully developing Afflicted into a PVP NECB ( just focus on PVP side of NECB track enemy CD/DR not all of the crap)

Earth Shock Cooldown + Anchors

The cooldown for the interrupt ability "Earth Shock" is 6 seconds (5 with talents) not 12 as currently implemented.

I second support for "Physic Scream" as a Holy Paladin in 2s and 3s it might as well be an interrupt.

And finally I was hoping you could add the option to hide anchors, as I don't need to see the large 'B' and 'S' on my screen when there is a spell cooldown showing.

Thanks for this, its great, user friendly, and I was wondering if you were going to host it @ wowace.com in the future so I can easily update it with the WowAceUpdater. (And maybe use external libraries ).

chaoshero: This isn't going to become NECB, if you want a mod that tracks everything available then you need to look elsewhere.

bmannhz: PS support won't be added, it may come later with 2.4 but right now it's a huge pain to support and not worth the effort required. You can already hide the anchors, it's an option under /afflicted ui should be something along the lines of "Show timer anchors". Earth shock is fixed to 5 seconds, and it won't be hosted on wowace.com

fair enough, thanks for the quick reply.

the anchors are hidden but when there are spells cooling down the anchor IS shown, and i can't figure out how to hide them. fantastic otherwise, thanks!

Shug I dont know because none of the warning are showing up , zero. I have tried to enable it in raid, party, combat, and all other chats and there are no warnings. I dont use any mods that would effect this and magictrack works fine.

Another buggy thing are the anchors , toggling it shows one and hides the other and vice versa, turning it off in ui works sometimes. Also sometimes they will show up in combat with them turned off and stay there, seems rather messy.

Resizing them moves them diagonally for some add reason across each other.

Anyhow im going back to magictrack since no point using this if warnings dont work. Great idea do have a ui version and hopefully some these problems get worked out, cheers.

Feral Charge

Does this only track things if they successfully interrupt a cast? I'm having issues tracking Feral Charge, the druid ability.

And spelllock doesn't seem to be working well either.

I'm scared of all the random versions of MagicTrack floating around, and I love the UI.

Scaling

The Scaling is also a bit messed up, it assumes its at 100% whenever you reload UI, then uses the scale bar to set it, so leaving it @ 200% my icons become HUGE.

bmannhz: Scaling and anchors are fixed in next update. I could swear I updated this but apparently not, next update will also fix some things not being tracked.

Intercept?

I'm trying to add intercept as a cooldown and I get as far as this:
