Action Bar Saver

Quick little mod, allows you to setup different profiles for your action bars. Mainly this is for hybrid classes that want to be able to respec without spending 10-20 minutes setting their action bars up. All you do is type /abs save <name> and it'll save the location of all your spells, macros and items.

For example, if you're currently a Feral Druid you can type /abs save feral then you can respec to Resto and setup your bars, then type /abs save resto once you go respec back to Feral you can then train all your spells again and type /abs restore feral and you'll get your feral setup without all the work of actually finding where you placed things.

Works with any custom interface like Bongos provided you're not using more then the standard 120 action buttons, ones that provided features to go past 120 will cause only the standard 120 to be saved/restored. This isn't a bug however, just a limitation in the WoW API

Upgrading to the newest version that fixed Paladin/Warlocks fixed my issue as well. Not sure how :O but thanks!

Another bug related to a spell and not sure how to tell you which.

When attempting to save a lay out (/abs save ele)

Elemental Shaman spells, no crazy macros. Only new items (besides spells added in the 3.0.x patch) are the hallowed eve items. Broom and HH mount.

Shadowed ... Forum posts: 387 File comments: 2513 Uploads: 83	It's possible, but it's not easy, or simple to do for custom UFs so it's not something that will likely happen soon. If you're a Paladin or a Warlock, it's likely related to the bug that was fixed today. If you aren't, then go to ESC -> Help -> check "Enable Lua errors" and next time it happens give me the file name, error info, and line number and I'll look into it.

And I noticed when I save my profiles sometimes the addon doesn´t show the message that it saved the profile and the chatinputbar stays there when pressing enter. Anyway, like the addon and alot of your other addons, too

Nightmare_Lord A Cliff Giant Forum posts: 70 File comments: 27 Uploads: 0	I am a lock so my pets are macro to summon form the spell book depending on what key I hold 1st, and I have my mount in the bar so I can summon it quickly. but whatever I guess isn't action bar saver all about not having to replace the skill on the bar when you respec so it save you time? only thing that there I might not have are quest items like the bomb for bomb them again daily so when I get the bomb I use Shift down arrow key and go to that action bar which has the bomb, lasso, head thing for Nagrand daily and so forth. well I guess I can remove my mount when I need to save. still hope there an update soon Last edited by Nightmare_Lord : 10-30-08 at 12:52 PM.

I love this addon and use it lot. but I not able to respec like I want because of the errors it have. Also it not letting me delete the Unknown ABS Save I had. Please release an Update to this nice addon for 3.0.2-3.0.3 so I can keep using it. brontes A Murloc Raider Forum posts: 4 File comments: 49 Uploads: 0	The Warlock's Dreadsteed just has "Dreadsteed" on the pet window and in every tooltip. There is no "Summon Dreadsteed" anywhere. Everything is consistently just plain "Deadsteed". Maybe a further clue, I don't know.

Possible clue? I just hit 70 and got my budget flier for comparison. Warhorse is considered a Summon.

I type slash abs save (name) but when you hit enter nothing happens. It doesn't clear the command line just sits there saying /abs save (name).
